I bought the size I always buy in Brooks running shoes and find these to be horribly uncomfortable. My toes are jamming into the front of the shoe as if it were too small. My feet feel terrible. Im a huge fan of Brooks and was so hopeful that these Ghost Max would be great on the long run but they just arent for me. My friend bought them as well and has the same issue. Not sure if I should go larger when I already buy my run shoes 1/2 size larger. I think the style just doesnt work for me

Absolutely love these shoes. Like walking on clouds. Just wish I got a size bigger for my half marathon. Keeping these anyway for everyday wear and short runs. Out of 13 pairs of brooks , these are my favorite !

Supportive and cushioning. Have had two rounds of plantar fasciitis over the years-and an a PT- very picky about shoes I now only walk in. Over 20 miles a week and no issues

This shoe didnt work for me- I need to stick to the original Ghost. I do a lot of walking and this one caused my gait & back to be off. Glad Brooks has a great return policy!

These shoes are my favorite Brooks to date. I just ran NYC marathon in these babies and the comfort was next level.

I loved my Ghost Max 1. They have been the best running shoe I've run in by far, and I've been running for forty years. It's been a real game changer for me. My marathon distances haven't caused any friction on my feet, and the ride is so comfortable I don't have to think about my feet at all. I tried on the Ghost Max 2 in our local running store, same size as the last time, and the fit is completely different. There's so little room in the toe box. Before, in the Max 1, the width, the length, and the height of the toe box had been perfect. I purchased a couple of pairs of the Max 1 on sale and have them waiting for me under my bed. When I run through those I don't know what I'll do. Please bring back the original fit.

These roll my feet toward my toe causing massive blisters. They have a lot of cushion but I have bought ghost for years but these max arent for me.

Cushion was nice but felt too heavy & stiff. I got the wide but it felt it wasn't wide enough in the mid foot. Did return them.

I love the comfort and cushion in the Ghost Max 2. It works best for me on long runs and recovery days. Lots of great color choices too!

I will update this after I do more walking. I just took the sneakers out for a good walk around the neighborhood. I usually buy the Ghost 15, but they switched to 16s, and I can't wear them anymore. After taking the short test on-site, I tried these and decided to try the Ghost Max 2. So far, I am genuinely not happy with these. My ankles hurt, and the right side of my foot is aching. I have never had a problem before transitioning into a new pair of shoes. This saddens me, as they are not cheap.

Once I found the correct size with my orthotics, absolutely love! They are like walking on clouds. I am not a runner, my dr suggested I wear them for all feet issues.

Good support through the heels and ankles. Good cushion. These equal or exceed my Hokas.

The Ghost Max 2 is very cushiony
I use it for walking on streets and trails
The fit is great
Toe box has plenty of room
My only complaint is that for wide width the shoe laces are too short

I love my ghost max 2 Brooks! This was the first pair of brooks I have tried and they are super comfortable. I have wide feet and they feel great. A little tight on the toes but other than that they feel great to run/walk/exercise in!

I was introduced to your shoes in February 2024 after purchasing the arch support system from The Good Feet Store. Your shoes provide the correct support both on the sides and bottom. In September 2024 I purchased Ghost Max 2, for my Greenland and Nova Scotia Cruise. I walked everywhere in them, flat and hilly terrain. They provided my feet and body with the support it needed. I will continue to purchase Ghost Max 2 as long as you have them. My only issue is that they only last 2 months, after that time my back and feet start to hurt. I wish they would last longer. The cost of buying new shoes every 2 months is hard when you live on a retirement budget.

Overall, i really like the shoe. it's got a more firm sole compared to the glycerin. the tongue is cushy and doesn't bug me when running or walking. i use the shoe for both. its true to size. i dont feel squeezed or like im flopping around in it. it feels like a really good fit. i typically need insoles in any shoe and these, i don't. this shoe gives good support for my arches (i have high arches). the only complaints i have are the tongue is VERY cushioned and so it's tricky to get a good tightness without holding the laces tight as you tighten the laces up the shoe. and secondly, i wish all the colors came in wide and not just select ones.

Great looking shoe. Cushion is awesome. These were just too tight in the toebox for me. Across the balls of the feet and at the base of the toes just didnt feel good enough to keep (or run) in them. BTW: I dont have wide feet, but maybe a runner with a narrow foot would not have an issue.
