They took some getting used to but I love these shoes!! I am on my feet a lot and also have a neuroma. These shoes make a huge difference with the foot pain.

I have always loved Brooks and own a few different stores, but these are my new absolute favorites! They have a thicker sole and I wasnt sure how I would like it but theyre the most comfortable shoes Ive ever worn.

I love my new Brooks, They fit perfectly and the color is great.

Broke my foot and this shoe leveled my height to the exact height of the boot saving me purchasing a lift for my good foot. I told my podiatrist to recommend this shoe to all needing a cast boot. I am a Physician Assistant and Aqua Aerobic Instructor who was able to teach due to this shoe

I found Ghost Max 16 to fit and help with my foot pain. I've had a double fusion on my foot, one for hallux rigidus on the big toe joint, and second on top of my foot, that never healed. Unfortunately they changed the design where the lacing is, and now hits right where the incision line runs at my big toe. The pressure just can't be releived by losing the laces. When you make little changes, it would be great to make customers aware. I also tried a pair of hiking shoes, but I really need the cushion of the sole of the Max. I am very thankful for the Ghost max 16 and will have to stick with what works. Hope this helps anyone with arthritis of the feet, and thank you Brooks for allowing me the ability to wear a shoe that's comfortable and fashionable.

Love them so much. They take the sting off a long run. Lots of cushion and equal amounts of spring. Also, best looking running shoe Ive ever owned. Win win win.

Unable to review as will be returning due to being too tight width wise in toe box

For a change, the shoe actually fit just perfectly. It was a 6 1/2 wide width and the fit was great. But the shoe felt very rigid and uncomfortable on my foot. So I had to return it.

I had to return the shoe. Get rid of the rocker sole. I have been dealing with tendonitis in my foot for two years and I have problems with my SI joint. The shoe made my feet feel great. I felt like my heel was held snugly in the shoe and it is an extremely stable shoe. However, the rocker sole made my SI joint hurt within half a mile and the more I wore the shoe the worse my back felt. Give me the same shoe without any rocker sole and I'll buy it.

Love these shoes just had foot surgery and they were the most comfortable shoes that I wore. I am on my feet at work all night. They fit perfectly and are well worth the price.

As a former Glycerin 21 lover these are my new FAVORITE! They are feel like a cloud, provide COMFORTABLE arch support and leave my feet and back feeling great after an 8 hour retail shift!

They are my favorite par of shoes yet! I prefer them to the first version of this shoe. They made a lot of good improvements!

These were nice, but I have returned them. The cushioning was very comfortable, but I didn't like the thick sole. I am a 70 year old retired physical therapist and I am very active, but not a runner. As people get older, they are less likely to lift their feet off the ground and it is very easy to catch the sole on a carpet or floor. I need to feel where the ground is and with these I can't. I have always recommended that my older patients not use an aggressive sole (such as trail runners) because I have seen several patients trip and fall. This is especially in areas such as the mall with low indoor/outdoor type carpet. These have a smoother sole, but you are walking on the thick sole, instead of on the floor surface. They may be ok for younger runners, but they are not safe for elderly walkers. I worry because these thicker soles seem to be the new trendy thing. My daughter has worn your ghosts for years to run marathons. She didn't like these either.

The mesh in the big toe area is wrinkling or puckered, rubbing on my big toe.

To firm. Post reconstructive ankle surgery. Was looking for a replacement of my Max Ghost. These werent them. Was able to track a couple pairs of old reliable and unfortunately had to return the Ghost Max SE and ghost max 2

Bought as a gift, nothing special looking about them. Ok shoe but considering the cost of manufacturing this shoe is obnoxiously overpriced. Would not buy other than Christmas gift.

So far I'm loving these shoes. They fit as expected and have more cushion than my previous brooks shoes. I like the plush feel when going on my walks.

Toe area smaller and narrower and overall shoe stiffer than other ghosts. They didn't work for me and I returned.

I have peroneal tendonitis caused by supination which means my feet rolls to the outside. I need a shoe that has full support and maximum cushion which the Ghost Max 2 provides. I do have to remove the insoles that come with the Ghost Max 2 and use insoles that correct the supination. The Ghost Max 2 shoe is very comfortable and looks good, too! I usually have to order a wide width shoe but the Ghost Max 2 medium width fits my feet perfectly. Great stability and super cushiony. I'm not a runner but a walker.
