These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Perfect balance between cushioning and stability for overweight walker.

I use these for power-walks and cardio based activities. This is my second pair, at this point, I wouldn't wear any other brand or shoe. Please keep them as they are, perfection for me, and that's no easy task with my feet!

A super comfortable shoe I use for walking. It's a little bulky but not too much. I think these shoes are better for walking than running because of their bulk. They are my favorite walking shoes better than the Hoka Bondi in my opinion.

The Ghost Max 2 were my first ever pair of Brooks running shoes, and I bought them a few weeks after they were first released. Best decision I ever made for my running! I like them a lot more than my Hoka Clifton 9 and my Nike Pegasus 40 sneakersthey're great, but I feel a lot lighter and more stable with Brooks. I almost fell down while running across a busy city intersection once, and the Ghost Max 2 helped me maintain my balance with its stability features. The cushion technology also helps ease the impact on my shins and my knees. The Ghost Max 2 are my tried & trues, my ride or die pair that made me enjoy running in Brooks, so much so that I eventually got the Glycerin 22 to add to might running rotation as well. I always like to size up a half size bigger so that I have plenty of room for my toes (I wear a 6.5 in running shoes). Highly recommend if you're looking for cushioned stability in your training shoes for outdoor running!

Very roomy toe box. I tried the Ghost Max vs the reg. Ghost. I decided to keep this one. Plenty or room to use my orthotics. For this one I could use a med width. For the reg Ghost I would have gone to a wide. The reg Ghost rubbed on my ankle bone.

Had been wearing the Ghost shoes for years and saw these and thought I'd try. Well, I am a new fan and obsessed with the comfort. I hope they last.

The cushioning for the Ghost Max 2 is superb. The ball of my foot was hurting after walking with my former pair of shoes. I tried several options (including Hoka and Saucony) before landing on the Ghost Max 2. The padding around the heel/ankle, as well as on the tongue of the shoe is perfect; and the laces stay tied. Brooks Ghost 2 is a great option for those needing extra cushioning.

I have the 8.5 wide. The shoe feels great! Perfect cushion and support! Would love to see the wide width offered in more color choices! Would also love to see a Brooks athletic sandal with same cushion and support. Summer is coming and while these do have a breathable upper, I have hot feet and need the open air of a sandal with this cushion and support.

A great shoe....very comfortable and built right! It feels soft when walking/running. Love the cushion. I would buy another pair especially if they would offer the wide 2E width in more colors. I have bought three pair of them and wuld buy another if they had more colors in the wider widths.

Finally, my feet don't hurt! I purchased wide as I developed bunionettes and these sneakers afford me plenty of room. Plenty of cushioning ,although I do use walk fit arch supports as well.

This the 1st pair of Brooks i have ever bought. I don't run but I'm on my feet some days from 5 in the morning making bagels or 830 in the morning on the sales floor. I'm super happy with them! My feet don't hurt and I can go the mile. ;)

Love the fit and the cushion. I have sensitive toes so the wider box helps a lot. They are great for walking too, lots of bounce. This is my favorite so far.

So comfortable, especially when you need to be on your feet all day long. Actually like this version better than the first iteration of the Ghost Max. Compared to the first model, this one is a little stiffer, but has great rebound, which works better for running. The first Ghost Max was excellent for walking, but it felt a little too soft/clunky for running. This shoe works great for both!

Purchased these last November. They've almost.made it to May with daily miles on pavement. They're a bit clunky, but the support is excellent and I believe the bulk makes them a bit more durable than the regular Ghost. With the cost of running shoes these days, that matters to me. I should be able to get through a full year with just 2 pairs of these. I'm a 6 in non-athletic shoes, 6.5 in these and most running shoes.

I have short fat toddler feet (size 7 x-wide) so decent walking shoes are hard to find. I decided to invest a little more money and bought these to wear on vacation in New York City. These are by far the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned. I wore them every day except one day when I wore my other pair of walking shoes, and that was the only day I had foot pain. Switched back to Brooks Ghost Max 2 for the rest of the trip and was 100% pain-free! I am not a runner, so I cannot attest to what they feel like for running. I'm getting ready to buy a second pair just to have on hand! I do wish the fun colors came in x-wide.

Very cute and comfortable...I am a walker and I usually put inserts in my sneakers but not with Ghost Max 2. The shoes offers plenty cushion and support. A little short but not enough to complain but worth a mention. For me, not enough to size up.
