For me, these are perfect. My only complaint is that I ordered the black and they are really navy blue so I'm disappointed. I need another pair but I want them to be black!

This is my fourth pair of Brooks Ariel shoes, and I couldn't be happier with them. I used to constantly roll my ankle and struggled with extreme pain from peroneal tendonitis. Desperate for relief, I visited a specialty shoe store intending to buy Hokas, as many people had recommended them. The store clerk had me try on several Hoka models, but I found them uncomfortable and too bulky. Then, she suggested I try the Brooks Arieland the moment I put them on, I felt immediate relief. These shoes provide excellent support and stability, preventing my ankle from rolling. They also come in wide and extra-wide options, which is perfect for my feet. Since switching to Brooks Ariel, my pain has significantly decreased, and my overall quality of life has improved. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for comfort, support, and stability!

Very comfortable and supportive, but the shoes are not black. They are a dark grey/purplish/blue which I was honestly pretty bummed out about :/ They also don't have very good traction and if not careful you'll definitely slip and fall. I live in Oregon where it rains a ton and I've almost slipped on moss many times while out for walks.

This was a previously worn pair of shoes that even had someone orthotic left in the shoe. Didn't even look like new shoes. I paid full price for a used pair. They are returned

Ordered these from store. I had tried a size 7 in store but when shoes came they were a size too small but they said they were a 7. I have to wonder if company labeled them wrong????

I have severe bunions and need a Large toe box. These shoes have that, but now the heel is too wide. Unfortunately,, I have a narrow heel. What to do???

Love the fit and feel of these shoes. Very supportive. This is my second pair of Ariels. Be advised, the mercury/ebony/lavender is NOT grey as it appears on the website. They are definitely a greenish/gray. When I asked my daughter what color they are she said "mint green." Still cute but not the neutral I expected. They will now be my work shoes and my coconut ones are my go to neutral shoe. Love them.

*shrug* I guess. I have them and I am wearing them. I have been wearing Brooks Ariels since ~2010 and muddled through multiple design changes. The demise of the Ariel and replacement with Ariel GTS is my least favorite. Ascetic is not-cute and somehow worse than prior Ariel, which was also not-cute but better than the GTS. I feel like the toe box is narrow and the rest of the shoe too wide/loose on my foot. What is nice is the cushion. It took me a bit to adjust to the feeling of bounce for support, but I think I like it. If they could give us a cute all-black or all-white this would be a happier review. As it stands now, I'm just being an adult wearing a "proper" shoe.

I've worn Brooks Ariel for years but they don't work with the orthotics my podiatrist ordered.

I have been buying Brooks for at least 15 years and love them. This shoe just didn’t feel right. It was too big and wide. Nice looking but didn’t feel supporting.

Wanted to love these but they were too short. I ordered my usual size and my toes were hitting the front of the shoe. I have been wearing the Adrenaline GTS for years but recently I have been disappointed so I decided to try a new style. I think a half size up would be better for me in the Ariel GTS 24 but I'm too lazy to reorder and pay shipping again.

I have relied on the Ariel for several years for comfort, light weight and attractiveness. Now there is no choice for colors. I'm afraid to order another pair because of the reviews I've seen here, the price and lack of colors. I am going to explore other brands because Brooks has little to offer.

This shoe was recommended by my podiatrist. I am not a runner but find it to be extremely comfortable for walking.

I really liked the style and fit of these Ariel GTS shoes. ( thank you Brooks, for carrying Women's size 13s!) My foot is extremely sensitive currently as I'm experiencing both plantar fascitis, and neuropathy, and while they might have worked for the plantar fascitis alone, they were too hard for my neuropathy, and were painful. My choices right now are extremely limited, as my foot is so sensitive, and also because I wear a 13. The only brand my foot can tolerate at the moment (Hokas) doesn't have Women's size 13s, and I have to wear a "Unisex" size, which basically is a men's size, and are too wide and don't fit as well as a Women's 13.

These have even more support than the adrenaline gts. I am switching to these but I wish they had more color options.

I ordered the Ariel GTS 24 in black, but it's not a true black. In the sun, against black pants, it clearly looks navy blue.

They shoes offer great support and have a wide enough toe box to allow my toes to stretch out. So far I love them.

I really love the Ariels - my ortho doc says they're exactly what I need for my flat feet. My biggest complaint is there aren't enough colors/designs in the wider widths. Just because I have wide, flat feet doesn't mean I don't want pretty shoes for work (healthcare)!
