I have been wearing my Brooks Hy[erion GTS 2 running shoes for almost a month and I still love them!
When they first arrived, I thought for sure they had forgotten to put them in the box, that is how lightweight they are. I usually need some breaking in miles before I feel comfortable wearing shoes for longer runs but these were good from the first mile - no break-in required.
In my opinion, the absolute best feature of these shoes, besides the weight of the shoe, is the slightly wider toe box. I have difficulty with many running shoes due to narrower toe boxes so this shoe is perfect for me. I got these in a Women's 9.5 (which is the size I typically need for running shoes) and they are true to size. Add all these great features to the feather light material and vibrant, neon colors and you have the perfect running shoe.
The only negative I have is the shoelaces; they are very long, and I have to double tie them. I prefer shorter laces which is strictly a personal preference.
The Brooks Hyperion GTS 2 will definitely become my go-to running shoe.

I am incredibly pleased with these shoes! They are attractive, while also providing excellent support and comfort. The material is breathable and perfect for the summer heat. Ive heard many great things about Brooks over the years, but this is the first pair Ive ever owned. Ive only worn them a few times so far, but theyve already lived up to the hype and have given me the encouragement I needed to get back to running. Im not a huge fan of the lettering on the side, but other than that I wouldnt change a thing!

Very comfortable shoe with appropriate fit throughout and overall solid pick for a daily trainer. They have a nice amount of foam with responsive ride. Best part is how lightweight and snappy they are, which is a huge bonus during hot summer months when breathability is an issue. My only criticism is the color way. Personally, I don't usually go for the neon shades and would much rather something darker to match my neutral-oriented running shorts and tops.

Brooks shoes have become my go-to brand for all of my running needs, but this was my first time wearing the Hyperion GTS 2 model. Over the years, I've tried lots of different types of running shoes. I've tried minimalist shoes, but those just don't give me enough support. I've also tried shoes with big, thick soles, which I tend to prefer, but sometimes those can end up feeling clunky. The Hyperion GTS 2, however, feels like a great hybrid between a chunky shoe and a minimalist shoe. This sneaker still has the bounce and cushiony feel that comes with a thick sole, but the actual fabric of the shoe is super thin and light. I will admit that this felt odd the first time I wore them, but it didn't take long for me to fall in love with the feel of this shoe.
As far as the fit of this shoe goes, they seem to run true to size. I tend to wear a Women's Size 10, and that's what fit me best. When I originally tried these shoes on for the first time, I was wearing thin, no show socks, and I quickly realized that wouldn't work. The back of the shoe comes up a little high and wraps around your ankle, so I would suggest wearing a sock that comes up high enough to prevent rubbing.
Overall, I love this shoe and will definitely been keeping it in my rotation! The design is simple with fun colors, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

Upon the first unboxing, I was immediately excited - wide toebox, sleek look, great breathable top fabric.. I was so excited to test these out!
The fit is true to size and has, as mentioned, a wider toe box than other runners from different brands. My foot is on the slimmer side, but a wide toe box makes all of the difference for comfort!
The heel is slightly elevated and there's plenty of cushion to go around. It makes it a lovely bouncy stride when I'm running, which has added distance to my runs!
The first of my two favorite aspects is the super comfortable tongue - as shown in the picture - as there is extra padding and width to keep my ankle protected through wear.
The second is the curved heel collar/tab. The slight curve away from the back of the ankle saves my easily-blistered ankles and heels. It is such a slight design choice that make such a huge difference!
I took a risk in getting a lighter color but they were too beautiful to pass up. The light color mixed with the bright design aspects is just fun!
This fabric is breathable, but sturdy. I wouldn't hesitate to wear these in a light rain as they appear to be able to hold up to a misting.
The only aspect I would change, and will, is the style of shoe lace it comes with. They are very thin and flat and have a little ridge along the side. They dig in a bit. I will probably grab some circular or thinker flat laces to replace these.
Overall, this is a solid road running shoe that has increased my miles in a short period of time. Definitely will recommend to running friends & as always Brooks continues to be my go-to trusted company!

I am a casual speed walker/jogger and I have a Morton's neuroma on my left foot. This shoe has changed my day-to-day life. I got my normal size 7.5, and they're absolutely true to size in both length and width. My primary use for them has been jogging/walking on gravel terrain as well as asphalt, while pushing my toddler in a jogging stroller. They feel like they just sort of "roll" forward, taking the effort and pressure off the balls of my feel so my neuroma doesn't even bother me. They're truly amazing. Prior to receiving these, I wore another major brand of running shoes and I thought I loved them....but now I know I will be a Brooks loyalist.

Narrow shoe compared to other styles. Although it's described as GTS, it does not have the usual GTS support

I like the look and the fit of these shoes, but I got them because I have terrible plantar in my left foot. When I have too much arch support, it makes it way worse. What I need is cushioning. I though that since these were a neutral show and was advertised as " our softest shoe" it would be the ticket. I've always run in Brooks and love the brand but sadly I can only wear these for about half a day and then the pain starts. I will probably keep them for days I need tennis shoes, but will have some time off my feet.

I really really wanted to love it! it was bouncy and light! BUT I have plantar fasciitis and for some reason was pressing more pain to my heal! I'm really sad it didn't work out because i love the color and the lightness.

I tried this shoe after Brooks substantially changed the design of the Glycerin and Adrenaline. (The Glycerin 19 was my last favorite). Glycerin became too wide and my feet went numb. I over pronate and my knees and arches require structure. I tried this shoe and the fit is good (though my normal 8.5 is a little big). I like they these are lightweight by there is practically no cushion. A five mild run just gave me terrible shin splits. I like the drop on these but why can't get get cushion AND GTS is the Hyperion?? I'm considering ordering the Hyperion Max for an upcoming 8 mile race because I am desperate to find something. I really wish Brooks would stop redesigning shoes. If you want to offer a wide shoe or a dramatic change, then make a new model. Also, offer a search for the specs of old models so customers can find the shoe that are tried and true to them.

The pros: this shoe makes you feel SO fast. Good cushioning and very responsive. I'm running my fastest 5k's ever. the cons: incredibly narrow. I was a loyal brooks adrenaline fan for years then strayed to other shoes when I was getting recurring knee pain, when I tried these shoes I was very disappointed to find that my left foot was spilling over the guardrails. I have flat feet but they're pretty narrow. I've never in my life purchased a wide shoe so I was pretty surprised this was an issue for me. I almost returned it but I just really wanted it to work. I had to swap out the insoles with another shoe and just power through until I wore the guard rail down a bit more. I like the shoe but I can't run more than 5 miles without the threat of blistering. Make this shoe wider and it would be PERFECT. so- 3 stars because of construction but otherwise this shoe is fab.

First off, they are super light! I am usually a Glycerin GTS girl and wanted to try something new as last years glycerins gave me blisters. They hurt my feet the first time out and I'm noticing the arch isn't wide enough. I've never had that issue with a shoe but I feel like it doesn't fit my foot right. I'll keep trying them and see if anything changes.

I recently switched from the launch GTS to the Hyperion GTS because I was looking for a little more cushion. I really like the "squish" it provides under the ball of my foot where the Launch was lacking making it a "harder" run. I do however like the heel cup of the Launch better than the Hyperion. Sometimes I find my foot not "sitting right" in the heel and I get a pinch. Also, I have custom insoles that I was easily able to wear in the Launch that I can't use with the Hyperion. Again, it's the area around the heel that isn't the same making it uncomfortable when I slip the insole in. Overall, I would love to have a shoe with the Launch heel with the Hyperion squish.

I started in Ravenna GTS, then Launch GTS, and then I tried these. Really liked the feel of them initially, but had trouble with the insoles on every longer run. The insoles are extremely flimsy, and they would move under my foot and wrinkle up while running. Tried several different lacing approaches but nothing helped. Brooks return policy is great - send them back for refund.

The Hyperion GTS 2 and its sister shoe were both not the quality as previous Brooks running shoes I have bought in the past. The tongue was too high heading up the lower ankle and the shoes lace too thin, material used feels cheap. Colors were great though, but the extra large "BROOKS" logo on one side of the shoe is way too big for my taste. Comfort level was good. The shoe looked big on my feet.

The shoe looked nice enough, but unless you have a foot that is extremely narrow in the middle and then extremely wide in the toe box, it's not going to work for you. Had to return because of this. My foot was hanging over the inside sole, which is never an issue. Then the front area was opposite and huge and wide. The tongue was stiff like a thin piece of cardboard.

I have purchased the last few versions of the Hyperion because I like the fit and how lightweight it is. This new version added some strange ridges into the tongue of the shoe and I can't stand the feel of it. It's similar to the feeling of your sock being bunched up but on the top of your foot.

I've worn the levitate GTS 6 now for a long time. I've gone through 4 pair. They are now discontinued and I cannot find my size anywhere. I called and these were suggested to me. They fit NOTHING like the levitate, they kill my feet, my knees, and my hips, I've never even had hip or foot pain. It's such a hassle to return for me. I kind of feel like the representative I spoke to just sold me the most expensive ones. Only giving them 2 stars because they look nice. (I'm on my feet 8-12 hours a day at an extremely high paced restaurant. Walking/half running around 8 miles a day.

I'm a big fan of Brooks and was looking for a new support shoe but despite the fact I purchased my usual size the upper on the shoe was so stiff I couldn't get my orthotic OR my foot into this shoe. Disappointing. Didn't rate this because I couldn't even get it on my feet. They have been returned.

Only giving it one start because I really didn't get a chance to try it. The heel is great, just like all Brooks. But the front is too wide for my foot. I tried the Hyperion GTS and that one is fine.
