This shoe was just what I was looking for, came in a xwide width, the comfort of the shoe and the navy color. However the ankle area was not comfortable for me. I was so disappointed as I have been looking for this exact shoe for some time. Do you have a similar shoe in 8.5 xwide in navy that has a lower cut in the ankle are of the shoe?

This is my favorite shoe. I'm on my third. I was wearing another brand As@@s for several years. My wife introduced me to Brooks Ghost and I couldn't believe how good they were.

Durability on newer Brooks Beast is lacking. Shoes wore down pretty dam fast for the money invested. Yes, these are my everyday shoes.

I'm 6'4, 230. Been walking in the BEAST for almost 10 years. It's perfect for larger athletes... stability & support. Won't even consider another shoe.

When I started developing arthritic knees I switched to Beast back in 2010 or 2012. It's the only gym shoe I've worn since. I really appreciate the extra cushion and support. They've gone through several iterations over the years and what I don't like is how they made the toe area shallower and quick to have the big toe poke through. I will say that the last 2 pairs of GTS 24 did not have that problem. Hopefully that defect is solved once and for all. And of course the price is steep. And I've suggested to them multiple times to bring back the grey and red color that they had in 2020. I'm waiting on the release of the GTS26 before I make my next purchase.

Incredibly happy with these running shoes. Really comfortable on my feet. Great support on my heal and arch. For someone with a slight PF issue these sneakers seem to be quickly relieving the issue. Better than the original GTS 24s. Would by again as needed.

Best shoes for pronaters. Your foot almost feels "locked" in place as it cannot role at all. A little of improvements over the Beast '20. If you know, you know.

I discovered the Brooks Beasts due to needing a shoe that could help with my Achilles Tendonitis rehab. I wore a ghost for 3 weeks and it was to soft. I still love them but they were to soft. I also have a pair of Addictions and they're to hard. The Beasts were just right. I do a lot of walking at work and in my personal life so I have 2 pairs in rotation. The guiderails keep me stablized. The only thing I wish is that there were more colors. This is my 4th pair in the past year and I feel like I'm going to buy several more pairs of these in the future. They're comfortable on your feet and if you go to a hospital or nursing home and start looking at care workers shoes you'll notice a lot of these on the floor.

They aren't as good as the Beast GTS 20's but still a solid shoe for everyday use. The softness of the 20's is lacking and the insoles are inferior as well.

Returned them because when I ran it felt like I was landing on my heels with no cushion. For me they didn't work well so switching back to Ghost Max 3

The last few pairs of the Beast GTS in black have had either a design or manufacturing problem. The tongue of the shoes will not stay straight. They move down to the inside position of each shoe, and the outside edge to the tongue moves up. I have previously reported this to a customer representative, but do not know if this was forwarded to someone who could diagnose and resolve the issue. What makes this situation a bit funny is that the problem appears to be only with the black shoe. I have also had a Peacock Blue Beast GTS for a couple of years, and its tongue still lines up straight down the middle.

Perfect every time. My boys have been wearing this sneaker for years. Always a winner. Brooks is a great running/training shoe.

Love, love, love! I've been wearing Brooks' Beast for years and I can honestly say that there is no other shoe that matches the level of support and comfort for my feet. This year, I decided to try the Adrenaline GTS because they were on sale. I needed new shoes for an upcoming trip where I'd be walking and running several miles per day. I have flat feet with overpronation so walking a lot leads to foot and lower back pain when my feet do not have enough support. I wore the Adrenalines for a few weeks and while they were decent, they lacked the extra support my feet have come to love and expect with the Beasts. Thanks to Brooks generous return policy, I was able to return the Adrenaline's and order the Beast GTS 24. From the moment I slipped them on I could tell the difference in comfort and support. Unfortunately, the top of my big toe rubbed against the top of the shoe when I tried on my regular size. However, going up a half size fixed that issue without compromising the support. I've had them for several weeks now and have put a ton of miles on them. The level of support and comfort are the same as the first day I put them on. Between this shoe and their awesome customer service, Brooks offers a match made in heaven for those of us with flat feet. Before trying my first pair of Beasts years ago, I had no idea that a day spent walking several miles could actually end without pain. I love that they keep improving on an already great shoe. Brooks has a customer for life in me! If you are a person that needs extra support in your shoe, this shoe is the one for you. I promise you'll feel the difference immediately. Try them- you literally have nothing to lose!

I use to buy the Ghosts but I switched to the Beasts a few years ago because I find them more comfortable and more durable. I bought the newest brand a couple days ago Beast GTS 24 and it seems to fit much snugger in the length and the width and the previous versions. It feels like a 12 1/2 instead of the 13 that I always buy and it feels like a double e instead of the extra extra wide that I normally purchase. Still is very comfortable and I still love my Beasts, and maybe I just ate too much salty food and my feet swelled up a little bit because I do tend to retain water like a camel if I eat too much salty food. I probably should have made it a month before I reviewed it before I put down that it wasn't true to size and fit too tight but I put it side to side with my last pair, which probably has thousands of miles on them, and they look about a quarter of an inch longer than my new pair and look about a quarter of an inch wider than my new pair. But I'm not going to return them for a larger pair because I'm pretty sure they will stretch out enough after I put a couple hundred miles on them or so.

Really love how comfortable these shoes are for all day wear. The only thing, the manufacturer could do with this shoe, is the reeinforce the toe area and top of shoe between the tongue and toe. The material is thin and a hole or two could develop. IMO. I walk about 50 miles a week in these shoes and get about 7 months out of them.

My husband tried on 3 different styles that would make his foot feel supported and this was the winner! He has plantar fasciitis and his arches fell while in the military. He was about to see a podiatrist to get him some relief but it takes forever for the VA to get anyone scheduled. He tried this shoe on and immediately said it had the most arch and heel support. The more he wore the shoe daily, he felt that it fixed his overpronation issue and his lower back issues, along with the severe heel pain he was having from plantar fasciitis. After wearing these shoes for about a month, he is virtually pain free and is about to buy a second pair to have one pair for work and one for home.

I'm not a runner but I have wide feet with bunions on both. Most EEE shoes aren't wide enough, and I was constantly in pain. The salesman at The Good Feet Store recommended these in EEEE. and I'm no longer in pain.
