Very comfortable. This shoe is a big help with my Achilles tendonitis. I have the 4EEEE option.

First shoe I did not have to replace the insert, these are great with good support. I need 4E wide for the most part the Beast GTS meets my needs for standing and walking a 8 hour shift.

I have the older versions of the Beast. They have a wide fit and hold up well. This is my first purchase of the Beast 24. I have multiple pairs and rotate daily. As I get new ones in my older ones move to yard work shoes. I really like the shoe. Unfortunately this year the size 12 and width 4E I need wasn't available in the silver.

This is my third pair of these shoes and this pair did not seem the same. My custom orthotics squeaked loudly and I was experiencing foot pain. I returned them but what a hassle. Afraid to order a replacement so Ill have to try something else

I am a walker only. I bought 2 pairs of these, one in a foot store that specializes in walking and running shoes, the other online. I really like them so far but have an issue with plantar fasciitis which seemed to resurface with this shoe. Currently I only have been using the pair I purchased online. I was informed at the shoe store by an experienced employee that the width. I was using on another Brooks shoe was much too wide (4E extra wide). She fitted me with a medium D. So I am not sure at this point if it has anything to do with the much narrower size. When I tried them on at the store, I was surprised that they felt perfect, being much narrower than I was used too. The first week or two they felt great when I walked. Now I am experiencing a slight pain from the plantar fasciitis. So at this point I can't say for sure if it is due to the narrower width or totally unrelated. If I didn't have the slight pain a 5 star rating on these for sure.

Ive tried the ON brand shoe and I thought that was great. But it wasnt wide enough nor as comfortable as these. Also, Ive tried Hoka and wasnt thrilled with the top of the shoes very weak in structure. This shoe has both. its very comfortable and its got a good top portion that keeps your foot secure and keeps it from sliding around. Excellent shoe Im very thrilled with it.

i'm 76 yrs old and have been doing the Disney World Marathon Week for a few years now. i've needed a more stable shoe for the longer distances and found these Brooks to be among the best i've used. i didn't run much but the 16 min/mile requirement over long distances and with the balloon ladies coming kept me going good.

A rare find! Good supportive shoe for the big men. Extremely hard to find shoes in the size and width needed. Thanks for this quality shoe with an affordable price.

After a week of breaking in, the shoes feel great! This is my 4th pair of Brooks Beast, which I wear daily for walking (averaging nearly 13K steps/day). They last about 12 months, with sole wear mainly on the outside edge, especially on the right shoe.
Recommended by my PT, they provide excellent knee stability and accommodate wide feet.

Though they are VERY hard to come by, they arent bad. I wear size 14 Extra extra wide. They are NOT as roomy in the toe box as the Beast 20 series was. I have bunions and need a roomy toe box. I dont understand why these shoes are so hard to find. Ive tried Fleet Feet and other stores that sell Brooks and they cant get them either. I keep browsing the internet hoping a pair will pop up somewhere. Oh, these are Black, not my color choice. Good thing its winter, summer time theyd be too hot.

I've been wearing "Beast" running shoes for walking for years. My current pair is at least my fifth pair. I love the all black ones because they are suitable for all occasions. They are also great because my orthotics fit well in them. The one negative is that in the last two pairs the front part of the sole wore out extremely fast. In the past the sole outlasted the uppers. Thats a disappointment, and it makes me wonder if Brooks is purposely designing the shoe now so that it wears out a lot quicker.

The beast is fantastic. I have owned several pairs over 10 years or so. I dont know why I ever shop for anything else. This last pair with my orthotics fit better than any pair of shoes Ive ever worn. Beast for life.

Shoe is comfortable with excellent support for a person with foot and ankle issues. I can not run but do use for walking moderate distances. I wish this product was available in more colors and designs.
