I love the idea of these. They look huuge on foot though. Not the normal Hoka cushion, imagine a shoe boot. But they serve the purpose.
Also keep seeing people say these fit small. If y'all have narrow feet like me these fit like normal hokas or even a smidge bigger

I ordered one pair felt the weird fold in the toe so I thought I'd order a size up, but you can still fill that fold which is from the design of the shoe shoe looks cool feels comfortable just a warning to anybody kind of annoying hoping I get used to it.

I was disappointed at the look up close and not at all pleased with the hard flat insole.

I first ordered my normal size in Hokas and they were short as well as very hard to get on. The knit cuff became wadded up and took way too much time to straighten out. Ordered a size larger and tried them with smooth light-weight socks, not the best for cold weather, but thought it might help. It did not, still unsatisfactory to put on. Presumably this is a design satisfactory for short jaunts into the cold, but when it takes as long to put them on as you plan to wear them, it doesn't work.

The shoe is great for the cold, thick socks aren't needed with all the insulation. However I took the advice on the reviews and boy that was a mistake. Grab your normal size the shoe doesnt have laces, its being held on with a drawstring around the ankle, any slight incline will have you feet slipping from inside the shoe. If you have a flat ground these are great but and elevation will have you twisting your ankle if not careful.

By looking at them you would think they were warm. I wore them several times to make sure they were broken in for the first snow (and even a half size larger than my regular Hoka shoes they are too small). However, we just had the first snow and it was perfect. Not windy, and just cold enough for a beautiful snow. After a short walk (no snow buildup yet) my feet froze to death. I might as well have just worn my regular Hoka shoes. They are comfortable with a great sole, they just are not warm.

I love the idea of this shoe! But your execution and quality control after 2 different sizes is not what I have experienced before with Hoka. I've read other reviews and your reply's and I'm worried you're not getting the message. You missed so far on this one and need to fix it. First pair a 9 and pull on the back tore after 3 weeks. Almost impossible to get on with a sock. Second pair a 9.5 and still too difficult with a sock and not worrying about tearing again. BUT WORSE IS THE RIGHT SHOE FITS TIGHTER THAN THE SHORTER SIZE RETURDED. Fabric is all bunched up at the toe. Last feels tighter regardless. I would love to have this shoe when right. Don't want to have to keep going to UPS to return.

I have bought size 10 Hoka for years and these were extremely tight and not true to size like the rest of the shoes. Had to return.

Worn for 16 miles a week ago and no issue.
Wore for same amount of time the next day and blisters on both heels.
Hoping to improve experience.

The shoe is hard to put on, but that could be because 11.5, my usual size, is way too small. I am waiting for an exchange, but that is also a problem because I need to come up with shipping box. I can't use the original shipping box because I bought a 2nd product so that box is way too big. What a hassle

It looks pretty nice, and the insulation is very warm. But there is a huge seam at the toe area between the base of the shoe and the insulation protruding out, which pushes down on the toe and makes it unwearable. I can feel it even with thick socks. I bought two pair and both of them have this issue.

The knitting in my Hoka Kaha Frost Mocs came loose after a week of use. Despite filing a warranty claim, Hoka refused to acknowledge the issue, claiming it was due to wear and tear. The shoes are cool, but the quality and customer service are terrible. If you have $200 to throw away, buy them, but know that Hoka won't stand by their product if you have an issue. I'm no longer a Hoka customer.

I have bought Hoka shoes for years and have always liked them. I really hate leaving negative reviews, but These shoes are honestly the worst shoes I have ever worn. I bought them about a year ago and every few weeks I try to see if they will somehow break-in, but they never do. They feel like pieces of plywood taped to the bottom of my feet. Underneath the insert is a hard, inflexible white material that never softens. I should have returned them but kept thinking it must be me, since every other Hoka shoe I have worn has been comfortable. Maybe I received a defective pair, but I don't know how anyone could wear these without getting sore feet.

I fit into a 14 for Bondi but for this I had to return for a size 15 and even THAT didn't fit. The toe box is tight and my large toe on both feet felt squished up against the side and they were also too short. I loved how warm they were, however.

I purchased these earlier this year and the waterproofing completely failed. My feet were soaked after a normal rainstorm. When I submitted a warranty claim, HOKA refused to handle it and told me to reach out to Gore-Tex, their fabric supplier, instead. I'm honestly stunned. How does that make sense? If the outsole failed, should I contact Vibram? If the insulation stopped working, should I reach out to Primaloft? No customer should be told to chase down the suppliers of the materials in a shoe they bought from HOKA. That responsibility belongs to the brand, not the customer. Extremely disappointing policy from a company I've supported for years.

Basically I wanted a boot version with the ease of slipping in and out like the Orange Primo but something warm. I thought this would be the answer but no. Like others mentioned there's this toe stitching that literally cuts in the top of your toes and squishes then when you walk making this whole painful to wear. Glad Hoka stand by their policy and was able to return for refund. Hope this address this feedback and adjust the design otherwise it would be a winner! That said please make a higher up on the ankle version of Ora Primo please!
