Returned item. Extremely way too small. I have to pairs of Hokas and absolutely love them. Could barely even get them on my foot.

First, since these are insulated, it's going to be a little smaller than usual and better suited for narrower feet. My usual size of 7.5 is a little tight but it took me time to break into these. I tried an 8 and it was a little too loose for me. Just remember that these shoes need to be broken into. I would order your usual size and 0.5 size up and try both to see which fit you like better. That being said, these shoes are super warm and snow-resistant. I wore these on a snowy hiking trip to Denver and it held up really well. The traction in the snow is pretty solid for a non-snow shoe and the waterproof held up great against the snow. Also kept my feet really warm.

Odd fit and runs very small. I wanted something comfortable for winter walks and shoveling snow. These won't work.

Have had multiple pairs of Hokas and was super excited to have a "cold weather" pair. The light blue was very pretty. I had great difficulty getting my foot into the shoe, found it to be much more narrow than my Clifdens and had no arch support. I wanted to love them and was super disappointed that I had to return them.

So I read reviews and Hoka's advice to go up a half or full size. Ordered 2 sizes that way and neither fit. So I returned them and bought my regular size. Like Goldilocks that was just right. In the end I returned these also. I loved the look, I loved the fit and comfortthey were just too much of a struggle to get into. A small zipper on top or on the side or even a few laces.

I love these HOKA's. I sized up a 1/2 size from my HOKA running shoes.

Normally wear Hoka size 7 so that's what I ordered. Toe was too narrow so exchanged for a 7.5. Still too tight so had to return them since they only allow one exchange. Ordered a size 8 and still not comfortable enough to keep. Just returned them. Run small.

I ordered my usual size, even though others said they needed to go up a size, because I always wear thin silk socks in all padded boots - and these fit me well. The toe box looks a little narrower than other models, but I didn't feel cramped. They are very warm and comfy - I wore them in single-digit temperatures yesterday. Only drawback - getting into them is an ordeal.

I went up 1/2 size. My feet stay warm and comfy when I'm walking or hiking out in the cold.

Because of so many comments saying they run small, I got my regular size, 7.5 and an 8. For sure the 7.5 was too small. The eight was too big on one foot and the other foot didn't work either as the shoe rubbed on the top of my foot in a painful way, I was so disappointed as I love the look of the shoe and was looking for something I could walk in when the weather becomes very cold. I would only recommend them for someone who can find them in a store nearby so they can try them on. If they fit, then great.

Always an 8.5 in Hokas but my toes are crammed in these. I'm so disappointed, they hurt. I like the style but you'll need to size up.

I am looking forward to trying these out in snowy conditions, but as an older adult, I find them difficult to get onto my feet. They should come with a shoe horn and/or a larger loop to use to pull the shoe. I ordered an 8 (my normal size), but had to go up to a 8.5. Even the larger size is hard to slip my foot into the shoe. The toe box could be wider too. I do love Hoka shoes and even though these need a little tweaking, or come in a wide size, I still recommend them.

This is NOT what I was hoping for or expecting from HOKA. I have several pairs of HOKA, it's the only brand I wear, and I have never had issues with the fit or sizing. I really wanted to love these shoes and was really excited to get them, even anxiously waiting for them. Based on previous reviews that this shoe fit small, I decided to order a.5 size larger, my regular shoe size is 6.5 so I ordered a 7. Oh boy.....this was awful. The toe box was EXTREMELY NARROW. Mind you, I do not have wide feet in the slightest. And the heel was EXTREMELY WIDE even using the lace to toggle tighter was of no use. If all that wasn't bad enough, the shoes is quite hard and stiff. Not at all "Like wrapping your foot into a sleeping bag" as HOKA suggests. This was a disaster. Sizing up again would only make the heel that much looser and create another bigger problem. There is just so much wrong with this shoe. My advice to HOKA would be to start all over and go back to the drawing board. The concept was a great start, but thats where it all ended there. Personally, I would love to see a shoe like Gaviota 5 made into a waterproof, 200g insulated shoe. This shoe is going back. What a shame.

Had to send back immediately. Felt like it ran small by a full size. Neither did it feel"plush" as related to cushion. I'm a full time wearer of the Bondi which is also described as "plush", so I guess that is what I was expecting.

See previous review 2 days ago. I exchanged the original shoe for my usual size HOKA. Fits so much better and no longer looks too large. Yes, my toes may touch the front (so far ok). The toe bed is narrower than the Bondi I wear and the shoe length seems a little shorter but overall they feel like a much better fit. And comfortable! My takeaway is that we all have different size feet. Mine are small, narrow/thin. Therefore, there is plenty of room in the shoe. However I can see where a wider foot and/or a longer foot may need to upsize. There was no way to know this based on reviews. So I went with the consensus.

I've been wearing HOKAs (6.5) for at least 6 years. (Mostly Bondi). I read the reviews and based on recommendations I decided to size up 1/2 size. Received them today. Not only is the 7 too big, it is definitely not a good look. My daughter says they look like "clown shoes." They do look enormous on my feet. My toes still touch the front while the fit around my ankles is too loose and my foot lifts when I walk. I feel that because they are too loose in the back, my feet slide forward. When standing, the length is fine. Luckily I have a HOKA store nearby where I can hopefully exchange them for my usual size. With that said, I am impressed with the outer sole for walking through snow and ice and insulation for warmth. Also they do have cushioning inside. They feel like they could be very comfortable if they fit right. Hoping for an exchange and not a return.

I have not purchased the shoe due to needing a size wide. I don't understand not having a size wide for people that have wide feet. My feet may swell due to my work it would be nice to have these in a size wide my physical therapist recommended HOKA but she said always get a size wide.

The room very small, I exchange them twice to the same shoe and the toes are crammed at the top no matter what size which I normally wear an 8 1/2 to a 9 and they both fit the same, but very very short from the toe.

This is my 2nd pair of Hoka's, 1st Brandi 8 and these. I will still have to purchase better inserts for perfect comfort. I do the same for my Nike's

I love HOKAs and between my husband and I we have well over a dozen pair of tennis shoes and half dozen sandals. I bought the FROST series for a winter boot/shoe and I got the same size I always wear but these shoes were either defective or a horrible design. I cannot wear them more than five minutes before my feet are killing me. Try them on first.

I am still testing them out. I want them to work out but they are very stiff and uncomfortable. It is my hope they break in and I won't need to return them. The look is great. Not sure if they provide the warmth as advertised. Not cold enough yet to test and see. The foot bed is very stiff. I don't feel the comfort like I do in my other 6 pairs of Hoka's. That was disappointing when I first put them on. My other Goretex Clifton's were also very stiff but seemed to have gotten more comfortable as I wear them. I am hoping the same for this pair.

So disapponted in this shoe. I usually wear 8.5-9 and returned 3 times going up to 9.5 and they are still tight and small and toes crammed at the tip toe. It was like it was the same size every time. Purchase with caution.
