Beware when buying this item. For other brands of shoes, the Big Kid category is for older elementary aged kids. But for this shoe, when you select the Big Kid category, they will send you infant/toddler sized shoes. I kept checking and double checking this listing, because when I put the Big Kid sized 5 shoes in my cart, the cart shows Big Kid sized 5 with the word toddler next to it. You will receive toddler sized shoes.

They don’t really seem like a wide width, but since we just sized up they fit well. They are colorful (his favorite colors) and lightweight, and he loves them. The quality seems good. I just hope he doesn’t grow out of them too fast since he has a wide foot.

Another reviewer mentioned the Big Kid sizes are actually toddler, so I ordered a Big Kid 6 for my toddler that is correct - we got a toddler 6. These are nice shoes, but the Velcro is WAY too short. My toddler has normal width feet, hardly any arch, not chunky at all, and Velcro is too short by at least 1/2 inch even though she has plenty of room to grow in the shoes everywhere else. I then ordered a wide size, and the Velcro is still a little too short, while the rest of the shoe is a bit wide. They are otherwise nice shoes, very flexible, and seem well made.

I do not like this shoe. We’ve liked Saucony in the past but these aren’t a great shoe. The tongue constantly bunches up inside even when I take the extra step to smooth it out for my son and even though we bought them in a wide the Velcro doesn’t close all the way over the top, so it’s not actually very wide. My son likes them and they serve well as a school playground shoe but I’m just waiting for them to be outgrown so I can buy something else.

The "breathable mesh upper" ripped apart within a couple months of regular use. Liked the idea of "breathable mesh upper" so her feet would not get too hot, but the lack of durability decentivizes me from recommending or buying a similar product in the future.

My son has bilateral clubfoot and he has realized the best to these! He says they make Him go fast! The show itself is a great son with actual rubber soles unlike most kids shoes these days.

Toddler shoes can be hard to buy. First, I was glad that Saucony offers half-sizes and width options, as this isn’t (what I’ve come to find as) standard. The “wide” width was roomier in the toe box, and there seemed to be more room within the shoe overall. I like that the toe wasn’t overly round, nor pointy, allowing for unnecessary tripping. The laces are elastic, and there is a pull-across Velcro for a snugger fit; my toddler can get these on and off by himself. The colors are vibrant without being obnoxious. The sole of the shoe is sturdy and has great grip. I can’t speak for this shoe’s longevity, but I’ve yet to find a pair that withstands the heavy wear-and-tear of a rambunctious wearer.

She loved them! Started racing across our living room right away! Felt true to size to her Saucony Jazz shoes, was looking for something with more traction and these fit the bill :)

These were my little guy's favorite pick of the few pairs we ordered, as they were the most comfortable for him. Despite this, the velcro strap needs to be loosened significantly to get them off and when they are on, it doesn't reach all the way across the shoe. I'm wondering if a wider version would have been better (too late now).
