Good four compartments. One for laptop and papers nicely padded. One for everything then one for small items. Last one for easy access such as cords. Chargers. Lights. Wonder how it goes when put in washing and drying machines . Great color. Especially in the dark. Received many compliments. Trying not to use full capacity though.

I got the purple color and it was cute but the backpack couldn't fit anything. I planned to use it for school and put two 1 inch binders, a small folder, pencil pouch, laptop, and a book. The backpack was too small and it top heavy. I couldn't fit my water bottle in the side pockets either. I could barely fit anything into the smaller zippers. I returned and got the recon instead and it's much better.

I use this pack for work and so far it's been great. I love the laptop compartment, feels very secure. The ability to expand the pack is great. Only downside is it is a little stiff but hoping it loosens up with more use.

Bought this for my daughter. She loves it. Durable material. My only complaint is the bungee on the side pocket came out easily.

The Women's Borealis Luxe Backpack is an excellent choice for both daily use and outdoor adventures. It stands out with its sleek design tailored specifically for women, offering a perfect blend of comfort, style, and functionality. The padded straps and back panel provide superior comfort, making it ideal for long days of commuting or hiking. Its spacious compartments are incredibly well-organized, with room for a laptop, water bottles, and other essentials, while the exterior bungee cord system adds extra versatility for stashing jackets or other gear on the go. What I love most about this backpack is its durabilitymade with high-quality materials that withstand daily wear and tear. The water-resistant fabric keeps your belongings safe in unpredictable weather. Plus, the luxe finish adds a touch of elegance, making it suitable for both casual outings and more professional settings. Overall, the Women's Borealis Luxe Backpack is a stylish, durable, and versatile bag that is perfect for anyone seeking both form and function. Highly recommend!

I've owned 4 Borealis backpacks over the past 15 years and this is by far the worst one. The two smaller compartments are small so space is wasted and is so top heavy. Space under can't be utilized

This is my second Borealis backpack from North Face and I had really high expectations. I love the backpack and its color, however I feel that the storage space could've been better maximized than what this backpack offers. I'll adjust and make it work but it's a big difference from my previous Borealis.

Beautiful color and embroidery come with the luxe version! Very thoughtful to have a version for women. Great look but just as sturdy! The 15" laptop fits perfectly too

I had been using the Women's Jester backpack since 2017 for everyday commute, school, and work. I was reluctant to change as none of the newer models have as much storage as my old one. I was really struggling to decide between the new Jester, Borealis, Recon, or Surge. The Jester was way too small and had no extra pockets, or good front/back divide. The Recon and Surge were both too heavy and bulky despite having similar capacity as my old backpack. I settled on the Borealis for its good padding, divided spaces, relatively good storage that didn't come at the cost of weight and bulkiness. After using the Borealis for a month, I've come to really prefer the protection the padding has compared to my old Jester. My laptop feels a lot more protected, and the backpack is more comfortable for long wear.
