Great backpack for traveling. I received several compliments on it while walking through the airport. The pockets on the sides for water bottles are nice and deep so your drinks do not fall out when you bend over.

If your wondering whether it's worth it (I was wondering that too) while yes, it is a little pricey, but definitely worth it. As a student, it fits all my needs and has lots storage. It is a little heavy due to how much I'm carrying, but the backpack contains it all and endures it all with little to no wear and tear. The material is high quality and very durable. The looks of it are sleek and trendy and I just love everything about it!

Love the colors. Strap quality is SO much better than mid-tier back packs. This has a surprising mix of capacity and still looking small/not huge. I've had or bought 10 different NF backpacks and love the quality and warranty.

Great backpack. All the straps are adjustable and fit all by books that i need with space for my jacket on top. the bottom straps are adjustable which helps with expanding as needed. Been using this for about a month and couldn't ask for a better backpack. there is even soft insulated pockets which is useful for sunglasses or anything you do not want getting scratched.

I love this backpack! I had one from 2015 that I used for YEARS and it held up beautifully (think summer camp, sports, hiking, traveling, etc.) I figured I would go with the same!

Perfect for HS & family vacations. Packs many items of different sizes. Love pockets for ease reaching things like pen/pencil. Water bottles of varying sizes are held well. Love the blue!

Great backpack, I bought it for my girlfriend, she is very happy.

Use it for high-school. Like all the pockets but wish it was just a little more spacious.

This is exactly what my daughter wanted however it wasn't able to hold all of her supplies so we we had to return it. We wish it was available in a larger size

It is a good backpack for school but it cant fit everything and there are a lot of pockets just in the top half so it looks odd and falls over constantly. Overall a good backpack but probably better options.

My wife is a second grade school teacher and a bit of a packrat. Shes as rough on bags as the worst of her students. I got her one of those trendy Lovelook girls backpacks 3 years ago which she loved, but the shoulder strap is already ripped to the point where it was hanging by a thread. My sister got me a Borealis (classic) backpack when I was in law school, something like 10 years ago before it was "classic" and its still kicking. Best bag ive ever owned and Ive had my share throughout the years. Her favorite color is purple, and this was the perfect fit. She loves it, and its got plenty of space for her. Im not sure that the premium price tag for the "luxe" extras are worth it, but it was the only way to get the bag in purple...worth it!

It distributes the weight well and packs in a lot but it doesn't have good balance to just sit up when not on my back and the straps are very long so tail behind a lot; without shoulder tie it tends to fall off one shoulder; not water proof and when coffee spilled it seeped into the bag and stained my papers; I like the black color less than the other hues

Love it but smaller space inside

I use this pack for work and so far it's been great. I love the laptop compartment, feels very secure. The ability to expand the pack is great. Only downside is it is a little stiff but hoping it loosens up with more use.

Bought this for my daughter. She loves it. Durable material. My only complaint is the bungee on the side pocket came out easily.

Great bookbag that holds all of my items for class. Very durable as well with multiple compartments for my laptop, notebook, and folders.

My daughter uses this bag at middle school. She likes it but wishes it had more room.

This is my second Borealis backpack from North Face and I had really high expectations. I love the backpack and its color, however I feel that the storage space could've been better maximized than what this backpack offers. I'll adjust and make it work but it's a big difference from my previous Borealis.

My daughter is in 8th grade and is using this as her school backpack. She loves how it looks. It has a decent amount of space to carry her binders and notebooks. The water bottle pockets are pretty snug, I wish they were bigger.
