Construction an durability are improved over pervious versions. Only tradeoff is the confort of the foam bed. New foam material isn't as comfortable but it's not a deal breaker.

After taking the boots fresh out of the box on a hunting trip expecting mild weather, I was thoroughly impressed with the boots when the weather turned for the worse. These boots had zero issues in snow/slurry weather (combined with gators). Everything else I can, gators and all were soaked through but the boots stayed dry. Traction was also no issue even when on slick rocks and steep side hills. Ive tried tons of different brands of boots and have never had a waterproofing hold up as well as these boots. The wide toe box was also welcomed when it came down to the cold weather. If you want a lightweight boot that can hold up to just about anything you throw at them then Id recommend these boots.

Just purchased these for hiking in Stowe Vermont. Very comfortable out of the box and continued that way during hikes. Outsole gripped very well, and the boot was kept me dry during downpours. Great boot.

These are very nice, fit well and and are very comfortable. I wish they had wide sizes in all colors of these boots, right now only 2 choices available. Good product, would recommend these.

After foot surgery bought my first pair of Keens, which were wide enough and had provide toe protection. Wore out of the box to a trip in Italy, while in town, in the country, and in the Dolomites. Was only going to wear for rural walks but were so comfortable they became the everyday shoe.

Natural Peace! Those would be the best words to describe my feelings each time I wear these new Keen hiking shoes. I am old now, with fallen arches and weakened everything. However, with the usual orthotics and these beautiful shoes, I can walk on concrete streets in our neighborhood and not suffer from discomfort, strained tendons, or exhausting over-stress. Thank you, Keen, Thank you!

Not much break in required. These are comfortable boots out of the box.

I live in Costa Rica and during the rainy season I am well equipped. These boots are the best to go on hikes or just to wall around. Amazing quality, highly recommended.

I think these are going to be good, I am a painter doing both high level interior and exterior full time. Have always worn keens for past 5 plus years and they only last me about a year. It was always the boot just slowly falling apart. They are most comfortable, only reason I buy them.

Very well built hiking boot. Unfortunately, the fit isnt quite wide enough for my wide feet. Im hoping they break-in before my foot breaks-in instead. I would recommend these to a friend that doesnt have wide feet.
