Right out of the box, was able to start hiking with pack and have my feet supported. I was able to adjust the ankle lacing to keep heal in place during downhill stretches with their new synching system, located at the 2nd eyelet from the top. This new feature really made a big difference in hiking comfort and reduce toe and foot pain to near zero. A fantastic boot.

The tongue lacks padding and keeps sliding off to one side. Because of the lack of padding the shoes hurt at the ankle joint. Hoping this softens up after some wear, because I can't tie the shoes tight without pain. Also, the laces keep coming untied even after I tighten them multiply times. shoes squeak on tiled floors.

The fit is perfect. Comfortable from the moment I put them on.

I had a pair that unfortunately started falling apart earlier than I anticipated.. I reached out to Keen following their warranty claim with pictures. I got an email back faster than anticipated with a coupon code to replace my hikers. Thank you keen for standing by your word! We all understand that people and machines make mistakes.

That has got to be the most uncomfortable pair of boots I have ever owned they had absolutely no cushion in them at all No padding 2 hours my feet hurt so bad I wanted to cut the shoes off at the wrong way i have had walmart boots with more padding don't give me wrong The boot itself looks like it would last a long time$171 and no padding in the boot at all for that I stick with my Timberlands

Kind of bummed that the fit isn't better. I wear a 10 4E and these feel more like an 11 4E. They seem like great boots but I wore them once and had some pretty gnarly blisters. My other keens fit great and are the same size so who knows...

Great. Not my first pair and i notice the changes from the last ones and they seem to be holding up..

I enjoy wearing them plus I like the light weight

Comfortable right out of the box. Enough toe protection for mild bumps but low enough volume to use in foot hold cutouts. Wide fit is excellent for all day comfort. Very satisfied.

Lightweight, very comfortable, sharp looking and super grippy! Absolutely no break-in required!

Break in was fast, real test will be my Alaska trip, where I plan to test the on low tide beach

I think this is at least my 4th or 5th pair of Targhees & Ive loved every one of them. Excited to have the warranty on the toe this time since thats often where they fail(that & they eventually stop being waterproof). I spend a Lot of time walking around the farm so I need tough & comfortable & these fit the bill. Putting this pair to the test since Im working harder than I ever have so well see how long they last Just wish the low arch insoles were cheaper & had a little more cushion (I know more cushion is hard to do with low arch insoles) but still far better than having my flat feet ache from the high arch on the insoles that come standard with the boots.

Bought the wifes and the toe box fits great. They feel light weight but still sturdy. Only problem is the tounge is narrow and is constantly getting sideways even when laces are cinched tight.

These bad boys are true to size. They are comfortable right out of the box and take very little time to break in. Sturdy is an understatement. These boots hug your feet and support you ankles all the while being comfortable.

So comfortable had ankle surgery and the support is the best feels great walking around in them .
