Very comfortable shoe and lightweight! Ive been running in them in frigid temperatures, I believe if it warms up about 40 degrees theyll work even better! Dont think Im getting all the comfort the shoes offer!

This shoe isn't bad, but it's not so great for what it costs. I would return it if I could. It's just very loud and stiff. I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable at all, but it's just clunky.

Super comfortable and responsive on every run I've used them on: easy recovery runs, long runs, tempo runs. Highly recommended.

I love these shoes and can find no fault to them. Ive used them for long runs, base runs, threshold runs, sprints, etc. you can easily fall into pace with these shoes and they provide a stable comfortable run that feels light and airy. Ive put over 100 miles on them so far and would strongly recommend grabbing a pair.

Meh... I bought these because many running bloggers raved about these shoes. I wanted a pair of cushioned trainers, that were also light enough to wear for racing if I chose. I cannot get on the "having 3-4 different shoes" bandwagon, and cannot drop over $250 for fast, race day carbon plate shoes.
My usual size 9, were way too tight...so I exchanged for a 9.5 After a few wears, the 9.5 is too loose...and my foot has too much movement in there. It is a super-cushioned shoe, but there seems to be zero response. I have worn them too many times to return, so I am stuck with them. I should've stuck to the Puma's Deviate Nitro. If you like Hoka's, I think you will love these!

Fit, weight, breathability, ff blast+ is amazing. Its always difficult trusting other peoples reviews but this shoe had me after the first run. Its hard not to use this everyday. The black color way is fire too.

no stability, made more for leisure jog, instead of a daily trainer. Need better lacing, maybe a sock like insert

Cushioned, supportive, and for perfect for long runs without a carbon plate. First time training with Asics or Superblast, but Im very satisfied with my purchase, and the shoes seem to be getting better after a few runs totaling around 20 miles. I dont know if Im adjusting to the shoes, or the shoes are breaking in, but every time I where them I like them more.

Exactly what I was looking for - not quite an alpha fly but more than a regular trainer. So fun, bouncy, and cushiony. Makes me want to try more asics shoes!!!

I put just over 1,000km on my original Superblast. Now about 100km into my the new Superblast 2. It's my do-it-all daily trainer. Superblast 2 is slightly less firm, has a better fitting upper and more heel padding than the first version. To me that translates to a bit more bounce, more comfortable to wear and a better heel lockdown. Honestly, I am not sure how a daily trainer could get any better than this.

I'm a relatively light (110 lb) female runner and usually wear W7.5. I bought Unisex 7 after trying Unisex Metaspeed 6.5 and found them too small. It took 3 short runs in Superblast 2 to get a good feel for these shoes. I thought they were too clunky initially. I took them for a 15 mile run after lacing tighter than the initial runs, and enjoyed the ride a lot - though I ended up having a blister on the pinky toe. I own various Asics shoes (Novablast 4 & 4LE and 5, Magic Speed 4, Kayano that didn't work out and old Nimbus among others), and I never had an issue with sizing. This one is a bit tricky - length seems perfect, toe box is maybe too roomy and my toes were moving around too much? and as mentioned above, I had to really tighten the lace to lock the heels down. I may be able to go down half size but I'm afraid that it might be too short if I do that. I am going to try to figure out a way to avoid blistering since I want to use these for the upcoming half / full marathon, unless I feel ready to use my Metaspeed.

I usually wear Asics wide-sized (2E) shoes. Was concerned the Superblast 2 would be too narrow. For comparison, I have a pair of the Nimbus 25, wide, and they fit my feet very nicely with no slipping. The Superblast 2s upper geometry fit snuggly especially at the ball of my feet. However, when I start walking and jogging, the shoe disappears under foot. I am a midfoot striker and the rocker of the shoe encourages a high cadence, which works with the cadence I usually go at (which is around 175 spm). The foam is bouncy in a good way for me. Midsole provides outstanding shock absorption and great return without feeling too jarring. Back to the upper, after an initial 5K on the treadmill, I had no rubbing or redness on my feet. I was able to wiggle my toes during the run, which was nice to be able to do every so often while running. The upper stays cool, too. Great support in the heel cup. I had no issues with heel slip. I use a runners loop in lacing and was able to get a good lock down. The tongue mops up a lot of sweat, so recommend letting the shoe air dry in a well ventilated area after a run. The outsole is very durable as is the exposed midsole foam. The shoe continues to perform well with each successive run. No noticeable deadening in the bounce of the midsole foam. So far the shoes feel like its worth the money I spent on it.

Really really impressed with these. I've been a big fan of the Novablast 4s for daily training, but these have extra cushion and pop for long runs that make the miles feel like a breeze. I typically wear a womens 8.5 for running shoes, and I ordered these in a 7 and they fit well. These are my new favorite shoe in my rotation, and I'm planning on wearing these for my next race!

I really wanted these to work, but they were just too narrow for my midfoot, which was spilling over the edge of the shoe sadly. I just returned them because I already felt pain. Normally I run in the the Nimbus' extra wide, since the toe box in wide range tight.
All that to say, please I'll pay anything just make the good shoes available in wide/extra wide so everyone can use them. I don't want to run in New Balance I want Asics. The Superblast 2 is a great max cushion shoe, and I'm bummed I have to sacrifice this because of the width thing. I don't want to run in the Novablast 5 because it's definitely "trainer" tier cushion, and will hirt my feet too much. Please I beg you make wide/extra wide in the Superblast 2 or even 3.
