I have worn a previous model of these shoes and this is an updated model. The fit is about the same as the previous model with perhaps a little better arch support. I don't wear them everyday but every other day so as to allow them time to dry out. I like the fact that the laces are shorter and I don't have to worry about walking on top of them and thereby untying them. The bottom tread is good and makes for easy walking.

These shoes appear to run somewhat narrow. I normally wear a 9.5 EE (Wide) in ASICS shoes, but required a 9.5 EEEE (Extra Wide) for the GT-2000 13.

Nice looking and feeling shoe but definitely not a true 4E width. I liked the look and feel but the width was very narrow for a 4e and i had to return them before even trying on the left shoe. cramped toe box even with a half size up.

Ordered this item 3 times and Zappos sent the wrong size three !! Times! Still never got the right size. Now they say it’s out of stock very unfortunate for us!

Seems Asics did a major overhaul on the GT-2000 series. First change I noticed when I put these shoes on was that they were slightly narrower around the arches. The toe box area was fine though. The next thing was the tongue. Or maybe lack of. It's no longer padded. It's a very thin piece made of recycled material. I may need to buy thicker padded socks now. The next change I noticed was the laces are much much shorter. This isn't a bad thing for most people. But if you have meaty feet, the laces might not be long enough. I've only ran a few 3-mile runs in these and haven't had a comfortable run yet. I'm going to try to break them in some more before I attempt a longer distance run. Overall, I wish I had bought a couple more of the previous GT-3000 12 shoes before they got discontinued. Or maybe I should consider the Kayano series next? Styling is subjective, but I'm honestly not a fan of the current trend of making running shoes look like futuristic space shoes. I think getting the all black variation helps them look "normal".

Zappos review, not shoe review. Love these shoes (size 13 4E). Very disappointed in what happened to me. They had these in stock, got them yesterday but Zappos chose to send me width 2E. I am returning them (easy to do with Zappos) but now what I actually ordered show out of stock. Perhaps you didn’t think I would check? Oh well. I’ll shop local now.

Great fit and excellent cushioning! Very comfortable for my long daily walks.

Ive been wearing the Asics GT series for 20+ years. Usually go through two pairs per year. Always comfortable. Always durable. Zappos is great. 20+ year customer here. Zappos has the best customer service, great prices & huge selection. No, they did not pay me to say this. Zappos rocks!

The extra wide width didn't feel as comfortable as similar shoes I have ordered, but overall good quality and good fit.

They fit! The fabric looks a little weird. I’m wearing them right now.

they were a perfect fit and comfortable right out of the box ..i have tried hoka and they always seem to be a quater size smaller...i will always buy asics in the future
