Very comforting while I was on my 5k jog, enough toe space, breathable, and no pain after.

Great fit. Slightly larger box for my toes and doesn't rub my Achilles.

Comfortable and provided good trail walking experience. Runs small. I have bought 11.5 Gel Kayanos for over 10 years. I needed a 12 in these shoes.

Absolutely love these shoes. Have several pairs of Asics,in all price ranges, these overall are my favorite! They have the best combination of comfort and stability.the toe box is wide and doesn't restrict my toes,in addition the front of the shoe doesn't have the extreme upward curve of some Asics, leaving my feet in a natural position. Will purchase again Great Job Asics!!!

True to size and extremely comfortable. They have became my go to, everyday shoe!

Shoes are great, delivery service not so great. Pandion went out of business during delivery and caused a multi-day delay in delivery.

Use these for work and then on vacation; even in the heat and humidity they worked out rather well, despite near deluge puddles of Asian 'dry season'. Grip on trail and most terrain was predicable and dependable even in messy mud or loose stuff.

Thankfully the shoe was on sale - the shoe is okay. I havent bought a pair of Asics yet where the insoles are comfy so unfortunately I have to spend more money for an already pretty pricey shoe and buy an insole every time. After that the shoe is pretty good I think. I like the colors a lot

I have 5 pairs of the Gel Excite trail 2. I use them mostly for trail walking and an occasional jog. They are comfortable and durable. I always go a half size larger than my normal size when I buy Asics. The one great improvement with the Trail 2 is the loop on the back of the shoe. It makes putting these on much easier than previous versions of the Excite Trail and the regular Excite/

Better than my Hokas. They literally feel so good. Lobe wearing them while on walks and working at the hospital

nubs on the outsole provide good grip over loose terrain but the outsole compound wears quickly. It feels very soft. Am awaiting gel nimbus 27 TR to compare.

Worked really well when I went to a party at the park and it was lightly raining. Traction was really good on the wet grass. Water resistant material kept the socks dry and made cleaning/wiping down the shoes a breeze. Comfort is always good with Asics.

Order 2 pairs and both are differently sized. Had to return. The shipping was horribly slow also.

I actually bought these in Spain. Had gone to do the Camino de Santiago and was having problems with my shoes. Decided to see what I could find. Wasnt very hopeful because wide sizes are usually hard to find in Europe. This was at an independent store in Tres Cantos, outside Madrid. Bought 12W. These were the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned. And this was from the point I put them on in the store until I got to Santiago. I tried them for running once I got home but not as good for running. I think the lack of stability but not sure. Fit was perfect also.

The Gel-Excite Trail 2s have been a sold, well preforming and versatile shoe to date. They worl well inside the office/buildings and then are rugged and comfortable outdoors.

I have been an Asics fan since the mid 90s with its gel soles. The new design incorporates the traditional Asics souls with a nice pop off each step. The traction is well on my hill sprints. I should have ordered two.

Very comfortable cushioning, traction is great. I've not run in these yet, but I have used them on 3 or 4 moderate hikes for several miles through some rocky terrain. I was impressed with the comfort, and especially with the traction.
