The blue color is great (personal preference) for me. However, the shoe is very basic in terms of cushioning/support, and for the "sale" price is just OK in terms for an "everyday" basic shoe. I'm not expecting great features for this price point, but the value proposition is not too great compared to other brands and options for the price point. Just my opinion only. Fitment wise, was fine for me.

This is nicely designed and comfortable, using for running and exercise.

While these shoes are wide enough for me (something I struggle to find), they are not as comfortable for me as the gel-contend 7's.

Only Shoe For ExtraWide Feet! So stylish and so comfortable. I am not a runner, I love these shoes for walking comfort. I have extreme bunions and these are the only sport shoes for me. Being a women who needs mens shoes for the wide toe box I appreciate the color options!

Comfortable and supportive! Not too heavy to wear.

These shoes are very comfortable, lightweight and do not cause my feet to hurt when I wear them for long periods.

I have been wearing ASICS for several years now. This is the best shoe so far. The extra wide is a must for me and this model is great. It also seems to have better support than the other models in extra wide that I have purchased.

The gel contend nine size extra wide is a great shoe. Typical as quality size and fit as my previous ASIC shoes.

Love it. Very comfortable. It is good for walking and running.

I thought they would have more support. Three weeks wearing them and Im ready for a new pair .

Love these shoes, I walk 3.5 miles 7 days a week and these have been the best shoes I have ever owned. That's also why I bought 3 more pairs, and I will continue to buy them going forward.

Too soft for me. The side of the heel already gives too much just from the quick try on. shoe will wear out quickly. I only tried them on and did request a return but have not driven over on that side of the metro. I always have better luck when I go into the store and pick a shoe.

I love the Contend models and own a lot of the previous models (3-7). The 9 is a return to comfort that 8 was not (I did not find the 8s comfortable at all). The Contend 9s are as comfy, maybe comfier, as the 6 and 7s. I'm ready for my second pair already! Just have to decide on the color.

Very happy with this purchase. I keep coming back to Asics since because the shoes I've bought have been consistently good and comfortable. These shoes feel very light and provide the support my feet need. The extra wide size gives me a great fit.

Great support, comfort, look! I need another pair. ASICS are all I wear for shoes. My feet need a comfortable fit that supports my whole body. I would recommend trying these shoes for day to day wear, running, walking or any activity that is a part of your day. When I phase out older pairs of ASICS I replace them and wear the other shoes for yard work and gardening until they no longer offer support or fall apart
