Very comfortable, has wide sizes for wider feet. Always reliable.

I owned a pair of ASICS a decade ago and still remember the comfort, durability, and build quality. This one lives up to the same standards, and I'm happy with the purchasethough it arrived a bit late.

Got these today, wide fit. Excellent stability, and feel. Very comfortable. ASICS never let me down.

Ordered normal size, they ran small had to return and order half size larger. New size fits well

This is 2nd pair of Gel Contend I have bought. First pair had a wraparound leather like toe protection. This pair a Gel Contend 9 has a fabric on the entire shoe. Also, this Gel Contend 9 has a much tighter fit--whether that is the lasting or the top fabric. I believe it is the top fabric--as I have to keep the laces very loose to wear them--very different than my earlier Gel Contend. I had this same problem earlier with the GT-1000 line that I have bought versions of for over 10 years--directly, at stores and at Zappos. When they moved plant for GT-1000 to Vietnam, the shoe became very tight---to the point that the same size is unwearable if you sit and work at a desk with them on. The pressure of the tighter fitting shoe makes them difficult to wear--when not walking or jogging--both for the Gel-Contend 9 and the GT-1000. Last time to buy either--as new design is too tight for my feet.

Very comfortable, and perfect color. Best purchase of shoes I've done in a couple of years. Definitely recommended.

It fits great overall. If you think youre a 10.5 unless your feet are very narrow youll want the wide. Very cushy for walking, and for running.

snug fit felt like pillow slippers for the soles!!

I ordered the shoes on 1/6. Never received them. Called several times. The last time I called they argued that the shoes were delivered somewhere in Pennsylvania. I live in Charleston SC. Never been to Pennsylvania. Had to call twice to finally get a refund. Lesson learned.. Zappos next time.
