There aren't very many wool socks for babies and toddlers out there. I bought the 24 month size for my daughter when she was maybe 6 months old, and they worked great as a base layer under booties or footed outfits. At 18 months, the 24 mo size is starting to get a little tight, but still stretches fine. The 3T size is a little loose, but she'll grow into them quickly. TLDR: They run a little small, but work great under other layers for newborns up!

These socks are perfect for my toddler's chunky feet. It was difficult to find a shoe that was appropriate for his size and would fit the generic toddler non-grip socks. After many shoe purchases, we concluded that the socks was the problem. These lightweight alternative worked brilliantly with all kinds of shoes! Just be mindful they will be a bit slippery. But that is what I like about them. My son worked around by the third time he walked on our living room. Thank you, Smartwool! For providing a unparallel quality and solving my problem!

I like these socks! They fit my baby great, only concern is that my baby is 18 months but I got the 3T based on other reviews. She normally wears 18 month clothes so I'm glad I read reviews and sized up. Also there are no grips on the bottom so if that is a deal breaker beware.

Great to see such wonderful children socks which not only keep warm but entertain our child with the prints. The only way you could make these better is if they had traction pads on the bottom of the sock.

These are warm, handsome socks for the little one. The cute animal designs and nice colors go well with a lot of infant/toddler outfits. I agree with the assessment that they run a little small. They fit my one-year-old son well but I am not sure how they will fit a year from now. I subtracted one star because they are somewhat slippery. I think socks for toddlers should facilitate walking by having some kind of grippy component on the bottom. I would NOT recommend these for wearing inside the house while the little one walks around, but they are great as a warm sock inside of a shoe.

I bought 2T-3T size for my grandson who was 18months. He has small feet(6.5 toddler) at age 2 and he is outgrowing the socks. My son and daughter in law love the socks, but your website for sizing is not accurate. These are not 2T socks. I bought alpaca socks from Warrior and their size is 2-5years and is more accurate. You should make a larger size up to 5T and make them more accurate. I would not recommend these to any baby over 1 year old.

My 2yo is average size and these socks were too short. The heel section was in the middle of the foot.

I bought these for my 3 year old who wears size 7T shoes. They were slightly too small, (the heal darts didn't sit on his heal) prior to washing them in cold water and air drying them. I thought maybe I should return them but they don't have a larger size of this thickness of sock until kids sizes, and those are all hiking style. So I kept them. Since then I have washed and dried them and they shrunk. I figured they would but it isn't reasonable to never dry your child's socks. Long story short they should make them slightly bigger to account for shrinkage. Regardless of that they run small on top of it. These are good 12-24m age socks. Size 4-6 shoes probably.

Not only were the adorable socks enjoyed by the twins, light weight and oh so warm with cute animal pictures they recognized immediately, the box was a puzzle that kept them entertained !!

We are so happy to have smart wool socks for our little one, but they are way too small. My girl has small feet and the 24 month is too small already at 18 months. Oddly, one of the pairs in the set was a bit larger and fit a bit better. Also, the part that fits around the ankle is quite loose in proportion to how short the foot part is. I've been keeping them out of the dryer and stretching them after the wash to try to get them to last through the winter. At least the animals are super cute!

I saw other reviews about these being small, but when I saw that the size chart went up to 3 years old, I figured I would be safe. Wrong! My child is 20 months and these are too small. Granted, toddler's feet size can vary (my child's shoe size is a 6), but the size chart says 3T is for 2-3 years making me think we were in the clear. I think this should read the actual shoe size of length of foot. Maybe up to 5T in shoe size? They really are cute, so I'm bummed they didn't work!

They are very very thin, so don't feel like warm enough and ours got holes in them after a few weeks. Don't recommend. I contacted smart wool and they gave a store credit for 1 pair and not the three pair. I won't buy again from them.

The socks themselves are cute, however I ordered these in 3T for my 20 month old, they are SO small and they don't come in larger sizes for me to exchange.

Socks seem very small for a toddler. Clever gift box has animals on each side - but it was shipped in a plastic bag and arrived crushed.

I was really excited for these socks for my baby for Christmas however when received they are too small. My baby is only 5 months old and they didn't fit him. He also happens to have a small foot for his age. Also the quality that I'm used to with Smart Wool; does not match this product. Save your money and your time. I feel ripped off!

I ordered an entire size up from what she should be, because the other reviews said they run small. They are still WAY too small.
