The footbed felt great on here shoes. Unfortunately, the straps are not adjustable across the foot. They might have worked if the leather was soft, suede or nubuck. The leather was thick and the edge felt like it was going to be uncomfortable, giving me blisters or rubbing my tender skin raw. Sadly, my feet have become very sensitive with age. I know here would have been divine in my 20s and 30s. But my 69 year old feet say “ouch, send them back.” Too bad, because they have excellent arch support. I got the black. They are dark sandals because straps and footbed and external shoe are black.

Back in the 90s and early 2000s, I LIVED in old school Dansko and Sanita sandals in the summer. Then they stopped making them, and I've tried - and failed - to find a perfect replacement. I am so happy that Sanita has issued this model - it's just like the old sandals they used to make. I got these in my usual size - I'm a 7.5 in regular shoes, a 38 in clogs - and they fit well, and are comfortable right out of the box. I wore them walking about 6 miles yesterday and my feet were very happy.

I loved the look of these sandals & was very sorry to have to return them, but the straps were so loose that my foot slid over the front edge of the sandal. The length of the shoe was close to normal for my size (& size ordered,) but the straps left too much slack & aside from the ankle strap, there is no way to adjust them. I would say they would have been comfortable if I'd been able to wear them, but I wasn't able to.

I’ve been wearing Sanita clogs and sandals for probably 30 years now and I love them! I can’t wait when a new sandal comes out for summer. I saw this and I grabbed it up and it is as comfortable as always.

Was very sorry to have to return these sandals, they were perfect in every way, except that they were way too wide and my foot slipped forward (& off front of shoe) when I tried to walk. Otherwise, they seemed like they would be very comfortable & they are nice-looking sandals. I usually wear a medium width shoe, but I think these sandals would be better for people who have a wider feet.

They're a bit floppy on me but not enough to return.

These are an odd fit the straps are strangely loose and I didn't like the feel when walking. Felt wide overall.
