These boots are exactly what I have been looking for: basic black combat style boots. They are pretty comfortable. Sometimes, boots are lined with a material that isn't comfortable but the liner in these boots isn't noticeable at all. The only problem is that for my size 5N, they are a little wide, noticeably so in the heel. I tend to wear fairly thin socks (to keep my feet cool in the Florida heat). Thicker socks will help them slip less in the heel. Even in thin socks, the slippage isn't enough to cause blisters or to be uncomfortable. However, I probably wouldn't wear these for long walks or hikes because that might result in blisters. Since it's still summer, I haven't worn them out yet. Just around the house to see how they feel with different socks. I'm leaning toward keeping them because the heel slippage isn't that drastic and because I doubt I can find anything that would fit any better.

These are very handsome, stylish, and pretty comfortable boots if a slightly more informal than I'd hoped. I still would have kept them as they have ample width and a nice foot bed. The problem I had was that the leather around my calf at the top of the zipper is quite tight (and I have small calves!) and rigid, so they just weren't comfortable for walking around.

I have purchased and returned 3 different pairs of Hunter boots that I bought for my daughter who has wide feet. These Sorel boots were perfect, true to size but slightly wide at the toe. She says they are very comfortable and exactly what she was looking for.

Felt true to size, comfortable and just a great hiking boot. Toe box adequate and it was a great addition to my "boot collection." I usually wear 10 1/2 in sneakers and stuck with size 11 as I usually do in boots. I bought the black color.

Fit is true to size. I wear an 11 in most if not all boots and these met my expectations. Good support and most of all--toe box room. I have worn these all through the holidays and no break-in time was needed. Highly recommend.

These are beautiful books with a nice amount of cushion and a neutral footbed. But, the heel area is large and my foot slipped up and down in the boot. So, they had to go back.

Garbage shoes. Too narrow, but right out of the box they looked used. Came scuffed with the leather already cracking. Am returning immediately.
