Wanted to keep them. They were very cute and fit but rubbed on my heel

I love the look and feel of these shoes. The sole of the shoe is very supportive and comfortable. HOWEVER BUT back of the heal (counter/foxing) digs into the back of top ankle. I don't know if it the pitch of the material or what. I did meaure if it came up higher than other sneakers and it is not. I'm not trying to not tighten the to see if that help but then the front of my shoe is loose. I brought these for europe and going to take them as an option if it rains. I'd suggest they look at how the heal counter area is really designed.

I purchased these to walk my 3 dogs in the dewy mornings of the Spring, Summer and Fall months in the South and they have not disappointed! For the VERY reason I purchased them, I give them a 100!! Now; I cannot speak to any other reason for purchase BUT if youre a Dog Momma like me, and sometimes you have to walk them on a leash, in the woods, first thing in the morning, these are the answer. I keep them by the door and Ive rigged the laces so they just slip on and out we go! I usta use the Out & Abouts for such but Sorels quality feel off on my last pair of Out & Abouts and I never went back. BUT thats because I purchased my first pair of Out & Abouts YEARS AGO, and Id donate them and buy a new pair every year UNTIL the rubber on top of the toes gave way after only ONE MONTH!! After that, Ive never gone back, but that was also the year Sorel started manufacturing their shoes in some 3rd Country. I cant remember which right now but I DISTINCTLY recall reading it in the label.

This is my favorite style of sneaker but they missed the mark on version IV. After years of wearing versions 1 and 2, the new model has destroyed my feet. There is zero arch support and my feet started aching about 2 hours into my long day. Its hard to explain, but they are just horribly uncomfortable. Inserts help a little, but sadly Ill be moving on to something else for my work shoes. The style is still my favorite though.
