This is our third purchase; putting a pair that’s a size larger away so that when the time comes we won’t have to shop around. A favorite. Super durable, good looking, good price, great traction. Who knows what they’ll be replaced with in a year. Get em now lol

Really cute- great hiking/play shoes. My 7 year old wore these for 4 days of hiking and they don’t look nearly as bad as you would expect after 4 days of hard wear. She said they were comfortable and hiked 7 miles in one day without complaining of foot discomfort.

Everything else is good but they don’t last longer than a few weeks, life is anywhere between 8-12 weeks before the upper starts to peel off. Sole lasts longer than that but shoes are unusable.

I got this for my kid because we do a lot of running around and hiking outside. He’s been having issues with his feet hurting and so I thought these would be a good step up. But we’ve only been wearing these shoes for two months and yesterday when we were hiking, he was complaining about how much his feet were hurting. They don’t seem to have the right support. Also, the soles are already worn out! I definitely hoped I’d get more than two months worth of tread out of these shoes.

I like the Merrell hiker much better that they phased out. I ordered this shoe in size 13 because a 12 1/2 was not available but it is way too big on my girl.

Sole has multiple holes after just 7 weeks of use. Disappointed in merrell’s quality.

Youngest (age 4-1/2) wanted shoes that looked like his older brother's. Merrell has always been a good buy for my grandkids' slender feet, supporting the arches as the foot goes from wide to narrow with age, and arch becomes higher.

Great shoes for my active, rambunctious 6 yo boy who quickly ruins regular tennis shoes in about 2 months. The best feature is that the thick soles provide a great deal of stability for active kiddos. The velcro is still working well after a couple of weeks of usage, so I'm hopeful it will work for a while (velcro on tennis shoes goes rather quickly, even before the soles).

Very supportive shoes with a firm sole. They seem a little better built than other similar shoes of the same brand.

Supportive shoes for kids with pronation issues. The firm sole helps with my son’s foot issues and they are pretty study. He wears them daily.

The width is just right. The medium/regular width would have been too narrow for slightly wider feet. Good quality materials and comfy to run in.

My son loves these hiking shoes. They are comfortable and durable. He says they are "the best"!

Felt perfect to my active 5 year old. They have a good grip just like you'd expect from a Merril shoe.

My five year old loves these shoes. We have a hard time finding shoes that fit her well, but these ones do. She wears them everyday and so far they are holding up well.

Bought this for my kiddo. He's pretty tough on his shoes. Merrell seems very sturdy and they are easy for my kiddo to put on by himself. So far so good!

Perfect. My daughter just don't like the color.
