These look really good and are now really comfortable, but the heel was very stiff for about a month or so

Shoes arrived with slightly frayed laces on one shoe. All else good.

Good information to go up one size. Nice fit, plus the color is the best.

I love these shoes but the benefits of the sole vent is outweighed by the downside

Going from neutral shoes to these is a little weird because the stability makes you feel like you're wearing cinder blocks but you can get used to it. Very basic but effective shoe for weight lifting.

These shoes are on a par with any adidas trainers I've owned. And certainly more comfortable than other shoes I've bought.

I've used them twice. So far, Reebok Nanos feel better. I returned them this first time I bought them because my usual number is smaller, I lost a discount.

I wish the midfoot area was slightly wider. I love the toe box width but feel just a little pinch in the middle. Feels solid when lifting weights.

I have nanos, metcons and now dropsets.
They are very rigid compared to competitors, which is a good thing if bought for static lifts, running in them is better than the metcons but you won't be running Miles. The heel lift is 6mm compared to the others 7mm.
In terms of long term...a good start is they have a hard but rubber heel. The metcon has thin rubber over plastic which soon wears out.
Overall....I do really like these shoes and time will tell how they wear in.
Stick to your regular shoe size

Great looking pair of trainers son loves them. Brought them for him to use down the gym so hoping they are better than standard trainers

The trainers are generally functional and have a much nicer design compared to other weightlifting shoes. However, there's an issue with the fit. I'm not sure if this is just the nature of the trainers or a flaw in the sizing, but the sides are very wide while the toe box is extremely narrow. My recommendation is to go at least one size up when purchasing.
