Customer Reviews Original S.W.A.T. Alpha Freedom 6" Hands Free Safety Toe

I was initially just letting them sit on my feet at my desk and around the kitchen. Didn't want to get 'em dirty before I was sure they'd fit. With a wide foot, you always need to see how it's gonna feel, especially with a safety toe!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this shoe! Comfy from the get-go, slip in your foot, set the velcro tabs on the tongue, lace it for comfort and voila, done!!! It's been a few days and they wear VERY well, comfy still, no pinching or pressure points. I scored 100% on this one first order out the door, no exchanges! 8^)

I really liked the boots. Particularly the step in feature. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the wide pair to try. The mediums were initially comfortable, but very quickly began to impinge on my big toes; so I ended up returning them. Regarding durability, I didn't have them long enough to say for sure but wouldn't expect them to last more than a year. Any boot with that many flexible points seems like a short term proposition.

Outstanding boot! A little background I always use elastic laces in any of my shoes to be able to slip them on and off very easily. I’ve had 6 inch boots before and they just didn’t really work well with the elastic laces to step in and out of quickly. However these boots from original SWAT with the hands-free capability built to just slip them on and slip them off is incredible. They have standard laces you can tie tight but that doesn’t matter. You can still step in and out of them very easily. To be able to do this in a 6 inch route is great. I really like that they integrated a heavier duty heel for taking them off where you can just put your toe on the opposite heel and pull them off very easy. Take a chance on these. They are also very comfortable and feel very durable.

not too snug, not too loose... practically no break-in. Love these boots!!! So comfortable and the only safety toes that haven't hurt my toes!

I was able to put the boots on but they were slightly too small, my other boots are 14s so I thought I'd be able to get these in the same size

needs more flexibility around big toe joint

Sides of boot tend to bite into ankles like crazy, even after following the instructions for fitting.
