Had to go up 1/2 a size than my normal shoe size for perfect length fit. Have narrow feet and these shoes are not a slim fit but neither a tight fit width wise. They allow my feet to spread out enough for good comfort and functionality

The shoes have good grip on the bottom. Enough shoe strings to tie shoes properly. Enough cushion for your heel(s) and ankle(s). Recommend you wear thin not really thick socks in.
