Northface was/is the only brand I trusted for New England coldest winters growing up. Now I trust them with my kids. They are perfect winter coats that are big enough to last 2 winters allowing my babies to grow out of them.

Unlike the men's jacket, this McMurdo doesn't have side pockets. It has large, square pockets like on cargo pants. It's not at the right height or angle for keeping hands warm. Please fix pocket design.

It's a very nice coat. However, the fur does not look the same as depicted on the model. I received the coat with black fur and very little weight/body [that's my only critique].
The coat is a great purchase for the winter weather!
