These will be perfect for winter! I did have to go up a half size. Normally a true US mens 9. This is what I take in the Madson Moc Toe lineup. The Slabtown (at least this model) last was a bit snug with my darn tough socks. The comfort is great! I love that they are like a dressier version of a sneaker. I tried to get some other Italian “hiker” type boots and they were way too heavy and narrow. Sorel tends to offer at least a “normal” toe box in most of their shoes (definitely not “foot shaped”) but comfortable for hours on end at least. Highly recommend especially if you are looking for something a bit taller than the Madson line.

Usually wear a 12.5/13, but went with a 12 for this boot. The boot is waterproof so the exterior has slight shine with a smooth feel. I think they look great and very comfortable.

I like these a lot. They are comfortable, and are good for white collar work. They feel light for a boot. I took a 40 minute walk in a downpour and my feet stayed dry. The only complaint is that they appear too shiny, like vinyl. I'm hoping they develop character like a work boot. The fit is a little big so I size down, the toe box is roomy.

Great pair of boots. I needed a lite pair of boots to travel abroad. They needed to be waterproof and suitable for walking. These boots are great for those purposes!!!

These are VERY comfortable they go with everything. They are true to size. Very durable dont feel cheap have a good grip as well and support you ankles for a long period of time! Would definitely recommend these

my husband said the fit on these were a little snug, but he said he can see them being very comfy! unfortunately i got one size too small so i cannot say how the durability or breath ability is for these boots.

Ive never had a pair from Sorrel brand and I need to say Im really impressed with the quality! All the stitches look neat, both interior and exterior. The leather feels soft yet durable and looks flawless. This model is true to size and my feet feel very comfortable in it. The only thing I dont really like about this model is the flat outsole that looks a bit weird to my taste but its still comfy to wear. Overall these are great boots for warm California winter - not too hot, not too cold. Im excited to wear them soon.

The Sorel Slabtown boot in my initial impressions is a very comfortable well made durable boot that will provide comfort, durability, and great support on a job site or working on outside on agricultural equipment. My only concerns are with how much waterproof are the boots and how easily the can be scratched on the outer leather. I would not recommend this for hunting.

The only reason I gave it a 3 star is because it came smelling the moth balls really badly. I had to leave them outside to let them air out. My dad took them and loves them.

Very beautiful looking shoe. Love that they are waterproof. Its over 100 degrees so my husband hasnt been able to wear them in the rain yet, hopefully n the winter. The perfect boot for fall with jeans and a flannel. Can be dressed up or down. It was very easy to loosen them up for the initial putting on. The one thing that surprised me was that the foot bed was a bit narrow. If you wear wool socks with these or have a wide food, these may be uncomfortable. Try on before you buy if thats the case.

I was so excited to get these boots from Sorel for my husband. We were initially very impressed by the quality and looks of the boot. As with all Sorel products, we are happy with how they hold up to daily activities. The leather is thick and stitching thorough. They also broke in easily, are waterproof, and hold up to heavy use. My husband took these off roading on his first wear and its now his favorite shoe for outdoors activities AND work. These are some of the most practical yet stylish mens boots out there.

These boots were gifted for honest review by influenster. These boots look very nice and have real leather that is good quality for the price (to get really beautiful quality leather I'd expect to pay quite a bit more). The rubber soles have a nice grippy looking surface and are a good feature for a waterproof boot. As it's summer, my husband didn't test the waterproofing. The size wasn't quite right, my husband is a 9.5 but thought 10 might work with shoe inserts, so comfort is hard to judge, but I will update if a friend is able to wear them. Overall these do look well made and attractive.

Comfortable, fashionable, and seemingly durable. These boots feel fantastic to walk in. Much more comfy than many boots Ive tried that are similar. Its the tail end of summer so I havent gotten to test these out in the fall or winter weather just yet but I imagine theyll do just fine.

Very comfortable boots. Love the color and feel of the leather and knowing they can withstand the water is great. They have a very clean look and great fit and support. Able to be paired with multiple pairs of pants. Looking forward to wearing these more.

These boots are extremely strong and durable. My significant other wears them to work a blue collar job and says they are not only comfortable, but provide great support to the feet. They fit well and are true to size. The color is also perfect for working outdoors, as it wont easily show dirt and debris. it is also stylish enough to be worn outside of work as well. This makes it a rather versatile pair of boots that easily work as you transition throughout your day, from work to play.

Looks like great and durable shoes. The bottom side material looks like it might wear really quick. I do a lot of walking each day as part of my work. Cant wait to see how long these shoes last. I also gave it 2 stars because I was unable properly review them because they did not have my proper shoe size.

I received these boots as I was excited to give them to my husband to wear for work and casual evenings. The first thing we noticed is they were very stylish and the brown color is really nice but they did smell overwhelmingly of plastic. Upon wearing them one day to work, my husband said they felt a little big and a little wide and while they are a sturdy work boot they were a little uncomfortable in the inner ankle area. Overall, these are a stylish boot that would enhance any outfit but may be uncomfortable for long periods of time.
