Very comfortable - goes with shorts, pants and dresses

Ive been a fan of birdies for a while now and have been eyeing a leather loafer-like shoe for work and casual wear. This shoe fits that perfectly! The caramel color adds a nice classy feel and the shoe itself is very comfortable and supportive. I ordered a 7.5 and had size down to a size 7. The leather is also soft so breaking them in has not been an issue. The shoe is also soft, but not too soft that it would slip off your feet while youre walking. Highly recommend!

Too narrow but stretched

This is a beautiful well fitted shoe for a ballet flat. My only complaint is that I ordered my normal size which at first felt great but stretched immediately so quite sloppy.

These soles of these shoes are very comfortable, and I like the look a lot. They fit well, but the heel of one shoe rubs and irritates my heel a little bit. I have several pairs of birdies and have not had this issue with any others.

Very comfy, just wish it had a little more style.

Leather torn first day wearing them, gave blisters, they are nice shoes but cost alot for what you get i felt

Not as instantly comfortable as my suede/velvet birdies but I like that they are leather and so a bit more weather friendly!

I like the shoe, but do not love it! All shoe manufacturers think the larger the shoe size the wider the foot. I have this problem with every company, so I have to add inserts and heal pads to take up the slack. I bought these to walk in Paris and have not worn them since they are sloppy on my narrow foot. I must learn my lesson not to buy on line and find a store that sells size 11. Most stores do not carry many. It is frustrating!

I love the shoe, it is beautiful, the leather is and subtle. It is comfortable, however, the sole is thin and provided little support when standing on hard concrete for extended periods of time. Unfortunately, within three weeks, the leather on the toe of the shoe began to wear, so, Ive had to return the pair. I may try pair of the non-leather options.

I ordered the Starling because I needed a decent looking pair of comfortable shoes to wear to dinners for an upcoming trip to Italy. Finding comfy shoes for me is no easy task, as I have a narrow foot and wear a size 12! Because of plantar fasciitis, I require more support for all day sightseeing, but the Starling is perfect for going out to dinner, when I want to dress a bit nicer. I will add that I needed to add an additional thin insole in order to keep them on. I anticipate these being perfect for my casual lifestyle!

Comfort is key. I have a bunion and this shoe is comfortable without long break-in period.

i have so many pairs of birdies (at least 10) and compared to the quality of the others, i was not impressed with the quality of the whiskey leather. after only 2-3 wears, the toe is already torn on one of the shoes.

Shoes are great (this is my fifth pair), however the leather isnt as soft and smooth as my previous leather pairs.

The quality is nice but the sizing just wont work for me. Im normally a 6.5-7, so started with a 6.5. That was way too small, so I upsized to a 7. Thats somehow still tight, so I gave up and returned these. The style wasnt my favorite so not worth getting a shoe that was either too small or too big.

It is cut narrow

I dont like the shape. The toe is very round compared to the photos. I have not worn them.

Cute but was expecting more comfort for the price.

I love the look and they fit great, but after a couple of hours wearing them, my feet started to burn. Im hoping that they feel better after a few wears because they really are great looking shoes.

Nice leather and the length is perfect but I have a narrow foot and these slip off my heel. Ill buy some inserts and hope to salvage an expensive pair of loafers.
