Customer Reviews SKECHERS Arch Fit 2.0 Easy Chic Hands Free Slip-Ins

I like to wear them around the house. Don't get me wrong, these shoes would be great as an outdoor shoe. I just wanted something more structured than a slipper to wear around the house. They would also be great for air travel as they are comfortable and easy to slip on and off. I am definitely a fan!

These trainers were very comfortable when I tried them on in the shop. But after wearing them a short while I found them very tight where the tongue meets the ankle on the top of the shoe. What I didn't know was, the tongue is anchored to the shoe by a small piece of strong elastic at that point, which was stopping the shoe expanding to my feet. It looked pretty easy to remove the elastic, so I carefully did this. The shoes are a whole new fit now. So comfortable and expands when my feet swell after doing exercise in the warm weather. Or now that it is colder, I can wear thicker socks and the shoes are not tight. Also I exchanged the standard laces for a pair of bungee ones, which makes them easier to use as a Slip-in. Standard laces aren't exactly great combined with a Slip-in version. As someone said in another review, they kept having to bend down to adjust/tie the laces, so somewhat defeats the object of being a Slip-in.

The discrtption on web site states: Hands Free, read that you don't have to bend over to get these shoes on, that is what I was looking for. Imagine my surprise when they were "tie" tennis shoes! When looking at pictures on sketcher site, the 3rd picture in, shows laces but no ties, and the the 6th picture shows laces no ties. I called and their answer was, well some people said they wanted to be able to make the shoe tighter!.(So have them buy a Tie shoe!) I wanted a slip on, with the tie "look" therefore the laces, but didn't want to tie...my comment is often times when I have had tie shoes, after awhile, I have to retie them because they come loose or undone when wearing them, so I wanted NO Tie. that happened to me yesterday when I was wearing them. So I had to ben down again to retie them. ):

I love these shoes. I have back and balance problems. The former pair of slip in arch fit Skechers had worn out. I littery stepped out of my old pair and into my new ones. I haven't worn others since.

Absolutely love how easy you step right into these shoes. No more having to sit down to put my shoes on. So comfy too.

Comfortable wide width and arch support. Would like it in black in wide width!!!

Arch fit is fit is great!

I started out wearing a lace up after my bilateral knee replacement. They seemed to have more support than the slip-ins. I can tighten the laces which affects different areas of support. The slip ins laces are harder to tighten and much less support. My knees ache after 6 hrs and I put my feet into the original shoes and they feel better. Unfortunately, the tie ups will not be available until January. More colors would be good too. We who have foot issues want pretty shoes too.

I wear this shoe for everyday. I love the fit and convenience of the slip in. The arch fit is wonderful, although it seems to wear down a bit before the shoe does. I would love it if you would sell arch fit replacement innersoles. I own multiple pairs and styles with the arch fit innersoles.

I deal with a lot of foot pain. This particular pair I feel no pain. Wearing all day. Excellent choice and stylish colors to choose from. Prompt delivery as well.

I love Skechers!! You never have to break them in you put them on and go! I had Keens and New Balances that I returned they are not as comfortable as Skechers!

Shoe laces I'm not sure about

I bought these to traverse several airports during my recent travel. They also worked well during sightseeing on streets and light hiking at a state park. They are wonderful!

Love this shoe. I get injections in both my feet and this is the only shoe I can wear all day. I work at an outlet so when I say all day I mean 8.5+ hrs on concrete floor. Please make more colore options like black and hot pink or black and rasta colors.

I was shocked to open the box and see actual laces. The whole point of slip ins is that you don't have to bend down to put them on. HOW ARE THESE SLIP INS if I have to bend down to tie them. False advertising! You can't see the laces in the photos. Had to return them for that reason.

Hands-free slip in shoes are such a brilliant idea. I hate having to touch my shoes to put them on and these solve that. These trainers look great and are comfortable. The only reason for knocking off one star is because I'd prefer if the laces were "fake" laces. If be only worn them for a week so hopefully they last well.

While this style is super cute the size 6 1/2 is very narrow even though it is described as a medium width.

uncomfortable for me

I've owned several pairs of Skechers now. They're not quite wide enough, but the Wides are TOO wide. I find they wear out pretty quickly, but then I walk a ton.

I am glad I didn't buy these. I like slip ins and laces that do not need to be tied. These pictures are misleading. I already got shoes I didn't want once because the pictures were misleading.

The shoe is a slip in, but still has laces and can be slightly tightened or loosened. The left shoe seemed smaller than the right. It left an uncomfortable crease on top of my foot after wearing all day.

My old arch fit sketchers were amazing. The only downside fall was I had to tie them. So went for this pair. But they didn't do slip ins in the knitted fabric material. And unfortunately when the weather is bad, my toes get wet which is really disappointing.

I bought these shoes the other day and was excited to use them for travel - main reason for purchase. I was pretty surprised when TSA stopped me, went through the scanner several times and was cleared only when I took my shoes off. I love the fit and know it will be great for travel but this is a big downside that I have to take them off going through TSA.

I wear trainers for everyday use. We rescue dogs so I need something practical, easy to get on and no laces. I have other pairs of slip ins and they are perfect, I was disappointed when these arrived as they have tie laces as well as being slip ins. The whole point of slip ins for me is that there are no laces to come undone and trip over when out walking and trying to juggle multiple dogs.
