So glad I bought this as my carryon backpack. It's great for both the train and airplane. I love all the numerous pockets/sections, opens like a suitcase, and best of all it's chic. I chose the mulberry color and it's lovely

I started flying Southwest for weekend trips and this bag fit my shoes clothes and HBAs. The only issue I have is the pockets in the front are difficult to use when you pack the bag full. Maybe they need to not be flush??

Bought this bag for week long trip to UK. Only bag I took. With two travel compression bags I was easily able to pack everything I needed into this case to wear, toiletries, as well as my tablet, adapters, etc. The backpack straps made it easy to maneuver through tube and train stations - only suggestion here would be future being includes light waist strap for best balance. Handles on both top and side make it easy to get slide into overhead bins and are padded for carry comfort. The pockets are perfect for stashing keys, docs and other items for quick access and organization. Finally, an expandable cup holder on side is great for carrying a water bottle to stay hydrated on flights. I highly recommend this bag - excellent features and great quality. Though incentivized with a discount coupon for future purchase, I would have happily provided this review for free as very happy with my purchase.

Just finished up my first trip with this bag. I prefer to check my luggage, and this bag is my one carry-on/personal item. Fits under the seat in front of me very well, pockets make sense for everything I need to access in the airport and onboard. Great extra features like the ability to go over the luggage handle in either direction, expansion, main compartment can be packed and/or accessed from either orientation as well.

Great spaces. Works well for packing several days worth of clothes and also as a personal item under an airline seat. Would love more color choices

Bought for a gift; now buying for me! I have smaller version; great for travel

I received a warranty replacement because the buckle on the first one I received kept popping open. The buckle on the replacement did the same! It remained closed once I re-buckled it, but Im hesitant to keep using it. Very disappointed overall.

Great concept but I received a very defective backpack. First of all it does NOT open flat and secondly not cross strap. No packing slip, no instructions for return. I love baggallini and have never had a problem until this purchase. They need better quality control.

I traveled for business and like to pack light and consolidate. I was able to get 3 days of clothing (including 2 pair of shoes), laptop, portfolio, carry-on liquids, and a few other extra items. Everything fit easily. The bag was pretty heavy but didn't seem like it when I was carrying it as a backpack.

I took this bag as my carry on to Spain recently. Itnis light weight and easy to stash in the over head bin. It fits easily onto to roller luggage and also is a comfortable backpack. It held several changes of clothes, shoes, personal items and more. Good quality and easy to pack and carry.

This bag held a lot! Nice features and pockets. I bought it for an international trip and i wanted the option of the backpack feature, but when used as a backpack one of the buckles let go 2x times and its brand new! I would not depend on these backpack buckles to hold if that is how you want to primarily use this. I dont know how well it would hold up for multiple trips either. I will use it with the shoulder strap or carry it by the handle, but im not very happy about that being that this isnt a cheap bag. I have many baggallini bags this is not my favorite.

I love the idea of a travel pack as a personal item to add more packing space to my carry on. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars that I would like to see other kind of space for outside pockets. This is just my personal preference, otherwise the bag is great.

I bought this for a trip to London and the Olympics in Paris. I packed shoes, toiletries, a wrap, and my tech organizer in the main compartment and my laptop, book, and other small items on the other side. The backpack is light but sturdy and has plenty of pockets for organizing your stuff. It's also nicely streamlined so that even when it's fully packed it's not bulky. This is a great backpack to add to your travel system.

I bought the backpack for an upcoming trip and will be using it as my only piece of luggage. I have been looking for a travel backpack for a while and own several other Baggallini products that I truly enjoy using because they are thoughtfully designed and well made. I am excited to travel light and hands-free, but with the option to attach the strap and carry it as a duffel or carry it as a traditional suitcase. So many options! And I love the neutral shimmer color. Not black like every other bag out there!

I have been looking for an airline personal item backpack that fits under airline seats and is also machine washable for years! It needed to be machine washable because hello it is placed UNDER the seat. It needed to be the biggest to hold the most but still qualify as a personal item. Ideally I needed a backpack because I already own several Baggallinis large totes which I love but doesnt free my arms like a backpack. This also slides onto luggage handles & has the trademark NUMEROUS zippered pockets! I just LOVE this backpack & couldnt recommend it more highly! Without doubt, one of my smartest & most practical travel or even not travel items Ive ever bought!

I love how many pockets this has on the outside. It's definitely possible to have this be your only piece of luggage on a trip with 7-10 days or fewer. On a recent international trip with this bag packed full (but not overstuffed or expanded), it did not fit underneath the seat and had to go in the overhead bin. Something to consider when you are planning your air travel, but certainly not a deal breaker.

I loved this bag until the zipper pulls started coming off on my first trip. Reported warranty claim and no response. They also deleted any message I placed on Instagram, and theyll probably delete this too!

We are on a trip to Italy. The strap broke a few days in. We had to tie it together in order to get by. Extremely disappointed.

Nicer than I expected. It is a great overnight bag. As a personal item on the plane, it fits under the seat in front of you. I used it for a work trip where I checked a bag but wanted to have some things with me just in case my checked bag did not make it. While at my destination, I used it as an everyday bag to carry my papers, computer, a binder, a scarf, etc. It's a little big for that, but it is no one looked askance. It looks professional.

I've been a faithful Baggallini lady for several years and refuse to purchase any other brand of purse. Little did I know that Baggallini also has luggage. I had been searching for a travel backpack for some time, but had not found one with the space and features I wanted. This backpack exceeded my expectations, offering all the features I had hoped for AND MORE! I'll start by saying that I wish there was a chest and waist buckle (even if they were options that could be attached and removed as desired. These features do help balance a load when arms are full.). That said, there are far more features on this pack than I had even hoped for! As typical for Baggallini, there are a ton of zipper pockets, smart storage solutions, and multi-functional ways to carry the bag. I ordered the 4 wheel carryon spinner and this stacks on the handle both directions (up/down or sideways). I'm super stoked that they included anzipper which extends the bag and extra 1 1/2 to 2". This extra space allows for at least one extra outfit, jacket, and shoes. I know I could travel using only this one bag for a week. I wa fortunate to receive a 25% discount code, but this bag is well worth the full price. I hope their next version includes chest/waist straps. If you know someone who travels a lot, this would be a great gift for them!

I bought this for international travel to take with me on the plane. It will be excellent for all my needsessentials, change of clothing, electronics, etc. The multiple pockets will help stay organized. This will now be my go to carry-on as it will allow me to be pull my checked bag without jockeying two bags!

This is a very well thought out backpack. I really like the versatility of how to carry it and how try access the main compartment. It functions like a backpack or a small piece of luggage. Unexpanded it fits under the seat of a small American Eagle plane. The pockets are great for organizing contents. I could pack at least 3 days of clothing, maybe more using compression cubes. Now, my husband wants one, but he doesn't want the gold color. Hopefully, they bring the black color back.

I looked at lots of Travel Backpacks for my Laptop and iPad and also to hold additional items. This was better than expected. Comfortable to carry and holds more than expected. Fits under the Southwest Airlines Seat although i did not expand it. Had room for purchases i made on the way to the Airport. I just need to get use to all the pockets so i know where i put everything. I would recommend as i thought great value for the product.

This is an excellent product. The storage compartments are well placed. I especially like the multitude of zippers, waterproof/mesh areas and convenient attachment to primary suitcase. A prudent purchase, will get many years of wear.

This is the second one of these that I've bought because I LOVE it! If you get this bag and the carry on, you'll never have to sit in line to check a bag! It's great for shorter trips on its own.
