I missed my old wingtips. Now I got a new one but its not the same broken in feeling. I have been wearing wing tips since I was in high school True classic.

I have purchased this shoe in the past for work and absolutely love them once they are broken in and anticipate the same with this pair. They are extremely comfortable. The only issue this time is with the piece of material that starts from the heal to the middle of the foot on the inside bottom of the shoe. The glue did not take at the end of this piece and it is starting to curl back.

Countless complements from women on these kenmoors. Been wearing them for years in 3 different colors. If it only had a little cushion under the ball of the foot. Heel is comfortable. Best feature: the double thick/stiff sole... keeps your feet from getting tired. great for a lot of walking. looks like you mean business, literally.( All shoes today have thin flexible soles which are harder on your feet and look cheap.

Any tips on how to break these in would be appreciated.

The shoes are beautiful however they were a half size too big and I usually buy a half size smaller so that I can stretch the inside. I returned the pair and am waiting for a smaller size, I am yet to receive a confirmation email.

I have an almost new pair of Florsheim Kenmore's I bought several years ago. They were the first pair I purchased that were not made in the USA and they were 1/2 size too small. This time I ordered 1/2 size larger than my foot size and they seem to fit just fine. If it hadn't been for the great sale price I would never have bought another pair of Florsheim.

It may take some time for the Kenmoor to break in but after they do I'll be loving them. I recently had my previous pair stolen while on vacation in Dominican Republic. I had that pair for twenty years and had them resoled once. Imagine, some stole a pair of resoled Kenmoor imperials but left my allen Edmunds behind. Also resoled. This new pair may not be made in America like my previous pair but they are unmistakably kenmoors. Gunboats to say the least. That sound of my step is clearlying imperial.

I'm the last of a dying breed who works in the federal government and wears suits everyday to work. I have owned both a burgundy and black tumbled pair of these shoes for almost 10 years and they are still my "go to" shoes. I've had both half-soled twice. The black ones are due for another half-sole so I'm sure the burgundy ones will need it, as well. Both are classic and remain in-style, though I would probably buy the regular black ones, if and when I ever have to replace them, which is probably never. To maintain the original heels, I periodically purchase heel savers and replace them approximately every year. The upper stays nearly as good looking as the day I purchased them with no significant wear at the bend. The inside lining shows no indication of wear and fit as comfortable as ever. My only gripe is with the tumbled black pair and only the right shoe. It's apparently stiffer and has never felt like it falls on the floor the same way as my burgundy pair. (That probably sounds odd, but I can't really explain it. I don't think I have an oddity in my walk and I don't notice it with the burgundy pair so I assume it's the leather of the right tumbled black shoe.) The cobblers who repair my shoes always say, "Wow! These are classics. Where'd you get them?" I feel better and more proud when I wear these shoes to meetings I attend around the world. These shoes say, "This is a man's man and he knows style."

very well made shoe -- takes a little time to break in. normal width seemed too narrow so got the wide but after a week of wearing they now seem too wide.. but can't return them now. side just below the ankle knuckle gets sore because side either is too high and it is stiff. Maybe my ankle bone is too low!!

nice shoe -- but the top of foot is too tigh.. might be the extra padding in heal ..
not sure if I should tough it out to stretch it or get a wide -- I sent back at my cost and ordered the wide.

Quality dress shoe, very well made. Only issue is no felt shoe bags came with shoe. This is important for travel to protect other clothes when packed.
I'd also recommend:

The Kenmoor Wingtip is legendary in style and sophistication. It's a shoe that wears like iron and forms to your foot. This is my third pair. I wish they had a narrow size C. They have it as an option but it's always out of stock. The B size is too narrow. I ordered the D so it's a little too loose. Overall though I am satisfied.

I've been wearing the Kenmore Long wing as my exclusive dress shoe for 25 years, ever since I was 18 and got a gob selling shoes at the Florsheim store at my local mall. That pair was black and at the time was the Royal Imperial which was the highest grade. I bought some burgundy ones several years back that were just the Imperials and they are great but not the same as the Royals. I think at that time the Royals had been discontinued. A year ago I bought the brown online and now after more than 20 years and several resoles I bought a new black pair. The new ones are definitely not the same quality leather as the old Royal Imperials but are still a great shoe. Florsheim has a new level that costs over $500 and I'm guessing that it is more like the Royal. I'm not willing to spend that much on shoes though. Over all I'm happy with the Imperial line of Kenmore Lomg Wings. They are pretty stiff out of the box but just need some time to get worked in.
One very important thing to know when ordering these online is that I normally wear a size 14 in most shoes and a 15 running shoe, but the Kenmore Long Wings are big. My blacks from 25 years ago were a 13. I thought that maybe I had stretched them out over time so when I bout the brown I ordered a 14 and they were too big. Order one size smaller than your normal size.

Great shoes, take a few days to break in then super comfortable and durable. Can do soles and heels over and over. But on this pair the nails used to attach the leather part of the heel are not countersunk so they scratch the floor. Taking them to a shoe shop to have them fixed - I shouldn't have to do that.

Shoes are great. Packaging for shipment was poor. Shoes arrived with significant damage to packaging.

I returned the first pair because I thought it was tight but it turns out I should have kept it since the wider width is a little too wide after you wear it the first time

Great shoes, just half a size too big, and I sent the 10's back to be replaced with 9 1/2's.

The shoe is a classic oxford, it is a bit stiff at first but I have no doubt it will improve with wear and last a very long time.

This is my second pair, not because there is anything wrong with the first pair, I just have them resoled. I just wanted a pair while the others were off to the cobbler.
Great value versus $650.00 for a nice pair of Allen Edmonds cordovan wing tips.

Delivery was prompt. Shoes were beautiful and exactly as pictured and what I was looking for. Only problem was they did not come in large enough size to fit my feet. These are quality shoes that you can wear for years and I hated to return them. However, when I did, the company promptly refunded my purchase price with no problems. Only wish I did not have to return them. Please consider making them in larger sizes.

At first very stiff and was worried after paying so much for shoes if I could stand them. Shoes broke in and are better. Very slick on wet floors and impossible in snow. Would like to see rubber covers come along with order for rainy and snowy days. When paying this much for shoes I don't think its too much to ask for. Quality of shoe is awesome stylish, and well built.

I realize this may be difficult
to believe, I purchase my pair of Tumble in 1974.
I have resoled it four times, the recent just three months ago, and they still look good.
Of course I have maintained then properly.
I certainly would recommend them!

The shoes themselves are awesome.
The only problem I had was having to return 2 pairs before I finally got a pair that didn't have defects.
Please inspect the shoes carefully. Especially on the pattern where the stitching can go over or even cut the leather. This leaves a flap of leather hanging off of the shoe. It looks terrible.
I received an initial replacement pair and it had the same issue. After returning the shoes again, I finally got a 3rd pair that were OK. It only took 1 month to finally get it all corrected.
Now I am wearing some of the most sylish and comfortable shoes in the office.
They are very comfortable. I have been wearing this brand and style for 27 years and have never a problem with them. They last and last.
