The Florsheim Kenmoor is even more impressive in person than on the website. A great shoe that looks equally at home with my suits, khakis, and jeans. They take some time to break in, but fit like a glove afterwards. This is the only wingtip I'll ever buy. Manly and then some! Zappos is the best. The shoes shipped and showed up early, and in pristine condition.

I had a pair of lower end Florsheims in my 20s, but always lusted after the imperials, so it seemed to make sense to ask for a pair for my 40th birthday. They are everything I expected they would be. They fit very well, and are very supportive. Despite a thick leather sole, which you might expect to be stiff, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and they just look cool. Nothing else compares.

I have waited a long time for a pair of these shoes; they feel good, but need some breaking-in. I ordered a first pair my regular size (11). The shoe did not fit, and felt a size too large. I sent the shoes back, and received a half-size lower. The shoes feel great. Thanks for the customer service and the product.

Just like a good baseball glove, these leather shoes take a while to break in, but the process is well worth it. Unlike any other kind of shoe on the market, these are durable, timeless, comfortable and always appropriate dress shoes. They could have been seen on a 1950's era business man or a 21st century upwardly mobile executive. A classic essential.

Shoes fit perfectly. I am 8.5 and ordered 8.5. Style is classic and always 'in'. The only thing I would do differently is to check the manufacturers web site first. A week after I received these I happened to browse the site and found the same shoe with a discount. That would have been a good deal.

My husband is very happy with these shoes. He said they are very comfortable and they really look great with his suits. As he is an executive, it is important that he look professional and these shoes do the trick. Also, thank you for your exemplary customer service.

This shoe is the former Imperial model, correct? They are fabulous! My first pair I purchased in 1993 at Detroit's J. L. Hudson.

Super service from Zappos on this. This is the third pair of this exact shoe I've bought. Couldn't live without it.

Incredibly comfortable, fit absolutely perfect. Just got these today and I am really impressed. Best shoes I have ever purchased and I've worn Ferragamos. I wear a size 13 with a B width and have never had a better fitting pair of dress shoes.

I own one pair of Kenmoors which I purchased at [...] Roebuck in 1973. My shoes have been resoled and heeled many times and look and feel as good as when I first bought them. My dream is to buy another pair someday. That purchase would last me the rest of my life. (60 years old)

I have three pairs of Kenmoors. I wear them every day and rarely wear my more expensive brand shoes. I wish you made a Kenmoor spectator!

The Kenmoor is the granddaddy of the longwing shoe. The double thick sole and gunboat longwing make for timeless wear in both suits and jeans. I own 5 Kenmmors (Black wingtip nos made in USA in the late '80s, and the other 4 are the current Made in India versions - plain burgundy and black bluchers, and cognac and burgundy longwings) and with the proper care and rotation in the wardrobe should all but last a lifetime. As others have said, today's Kenmoor cannot compete with the vintage Kenmoor, but one must consider the price point. The vintage Kenmoor - to be made to that standard of construction - would have to cost at least [$]. For 1/2 off the modern Kenmoor remains a bargain investment. I would urge Florsheim, however, to take the Duckie Brown experiment one step further and reintroduce a limited run of the black pebble grain longwing made in the USA to the old specs and at a fair price for that level of quality and see what happens. My guess is that you will be shocked at the high demand.

These wingtips are the classic business suit compliment. I have owned every color of these Florsheims over the years and always come back them. These shoes are very durable and with a coat of wax every so often they will last you for quite awhile. You will definitely get your money's worth out of them and they will always be in style.

The Florsheim name is to shoes as Rolex is to watches, and as Mont Blanc is to Writing Instruments

Great shoe with classic styling. My father actually wore this same model for many, many years. I remember him wearing these off to work throughout my high school days. He has since passed away and I'm now 51 years old. Not only is there somewhat of a sentimental feeling for me every time I put them on but it goes to show that quality, styling, and dependability are always in fashion.

The first pair lasted 15 yrs with 1 resole. My husband is a pilot and these shoes saw the world. He carries heavy bags and walks miles through jet fuel, snow, and rain. The Kenmores are timeless and functional. No metal to trip security. He tried other top brands and they lasted a tenth of the time. They are versatile enough for casual wear when suitcase room gets smaller every year.

My feet are like a duck's. Very narrow heel and EEEE across the front. Have to buy shoes a size too large to get the width which makes my heels rise up as I walk. I put lady's stocking savers in the heels and it is functional. I have this problem with all showes but Florsheim comes closest to fitting. And the quality of your high end shoes is great. Perhaps not as good as 30 years ago when you sold this version with 78 nails in the heels and the shoe was horse hide. But in today's market, it is an exceptional shoe. Have a nice day.

I bought my first pair of this model sometime in the late 1970's. It is amazing that a shoe that weighs as much as this one does can be so comfortable. Put them on in the morning and take them off at night; they are comfortable all day. The uppers are so well made that I can resole them three times and they still look good. I wish they were still made in the USA like they were when I bought my first pair but you can't have everything.

As a litigator, I have to "think on my feet" a lot. These shoes make that task a lot easier. The comfort, the classic look and the durability are excellent. It feels right just putting them on with the "Suit of Lights" for the next court appearance.
