These boots need to be made in women's sizes. I am a firefighter and a lot of my co-workers wear these as station boots. Women need Black Work Boots too.

Excellent pair of boots. As a Firefighter you need a good pair of boots. They are very comfortable and for steel toe boots they arent as heavy as youd expect either. Will order again!

a little hard to put on at times as its tight around the bridge of your foot, but definitely worth the money.

Finally picked up a pair of these from Starr western wear about 70 miles from my house. Tried them on, walked the store a bit, everything seemed fine. Got them home and proceeded to work outside with my new boots. I quickly noticed my sock bunching up on the top of my right boot. After further investigation I noticed that ariat (when stitching the top to the lower) missed the leather below causing this piece to bunch my sock irritating my foot. Very disappointed in the quality, and the store only had that one pair in my size, plus they are a bit far.

I bought these pair of boots a week ago and at first they fit good but after a while they stretch. Now I feel that they are a half size too big. Which no big deal because I bought a pair of thick boot socks. Now I know next time to size down a half size because they will stretch. For example, I am usually a 9 1/2 EE and in these boots I'll get 9EE next time.

Comfortable and looks good. Waterproof would be nice.

Can tell the difference from my other two pair I've had in the past. Feels more comfy and the fit is just right. Couldn't be more pleased. Just glad they brought the Sierra black square steel toes back

The finest quality for a good price, and very comfortable I will say when I first got my pair, I run in 9.5 US Nike, sizing says it should be 9.5. I ordered 9 US, had a few lacing falling out from the side and had to ship back to get resized When I got 8.5 back, still had a loop of lacing falling out and a string hanging out, fit the right foot, but the left foot was incredibly loose Figured out it was indeed slightly smaller in some areas on one shoe Other than that, I'm still proud of being an Ariat owner, just hope this gets to the right people!

They are awesome boots but right boot very loose..

Bought shoes just for the sole to be sliced when I haven't even worn them n other sole is bout the same

I bought these to wear at my part time job because dress code calls for black footwear. I've tried several times to wear them, but finally gave up. They kill my feet after a short time. I can barely walk when my 5 hour shift is over. I also struggle to get them on, and no they are not too big. On the other hand ariat workhog boots are the best ive ever had

Ariat boots have always been my go to, I've had a pair of these boots in the past and they've always been true to size until now. I'm not sure what has happened to the quality of ariat but I went to twisted x for a my last pair of boots and I came back to ariat this time in hopes they had improved back to what I expected from boots and they have struck out again and let me down.

Absolutely hands down the WORST boot I have ever worn. I have worn Combat boots, Tactical boots, Cowboy boots and Work boots for over 20 years and my feet have never hurt. These Sierra Shock Shield Steel Toe are terrible. I have tried different insoles to include from other Ariat boots and it doesn't matter. They make my feet hurt so bad that I can barely walk around in them and my job requires ALOT of walking.
