happy with my new autumn vans. The color is like a rusty maroon brown. Should work well with most earth tone outfits. The side is like a polyester shiny material that I wasn't expecting but am not mad about. Would repeat, fast shipping and a 41% savings -yes please

Bold pop of blue with a zing from a lightning bolt! Love these!

Turned these shoes into Chargers shoes for my son. He loves them! Used a razor blade to cut in the front part of the bolt and filled in with acrylic paints.

I bought these shoes and they took a bit to break in, but after about 3 days they're completely broken in. Good shoe.

Fits good but the "white" checkered is actually like a cream color not a real white. Super bummed.

The checkers look yellow! And it looks so obvious because of the vans logo being so white you expect the squares being white not yellow.

It's been quite a few years since I bought a pair of Checkerboard Vans, and I was worried that the quality would have gone down like so many other brands these days. When they arrived, I was happy to see they were the same great Vans I remembered. Fun Fact: Since the checkboard part is canvas, you can color the white squares whatever colors you want with Sharpies! #sweepstakes

Super adorable embroidery with a spider embroidered on the heel. Ladies get two sets of laces, a black lacy web type shoelace and a regular pair.

As an east coast kid lucky enough to get ahead of trends by spending summers in Va Beach Va, I got my 1st pair of black and grey authentic's and brought them home to debut at my school that fall only to be joked on about my "funky shoes" I held my ground and for my 60th birthday, purchased the Halloween shoe just in time for Halloween. Rocking them around town, 4-5 different colors, all old skools, on the Harley and stepping out of my ford lightning or 55 pink and white Crown Vic.. yea, vans are the coolest, always have been, always will be!! Paul VanDoren, you are my hero!

I started wearing Vans in the 90s and have always loved them. The style, the comfort, the quality, always the best. Now I get to share that with my son, and he's already a fan as well! Nothing beats the classic checker pattern.

Usually my kid opts for black on black. I got these for him hoping he would try something new. Guess what?! HE LOVES THEM! Just a teensy bit of unique style added, and it was well worth it!

Using these two items right now for school great fit! Even goes with a lot!
