These are cute and comfy. They were a little bulky for my narrow foot and the back strap is a little 'gappy.' I debated keeping them, but I think I would reach for my big buckle Birks instead, so I returned these.

I have wanted to be able to wear these cute sandals but never reach for them as the top strap is too loose and feels like the edge of strap will scrape with each step, only tried on in house on carpet; think this is the 2nd or 3rd pair I've ordered to see if the fit might be better. Unfortunately must return and go back to my Birks that are adjustable. Thanks Zappos for your generous return policy! I know they may work better for someone that doesn't have a slim foot.

Too wide.

Ordered the Rowan silver slides and also the mahonany/straw slides in size 7 which is my usual size in sandals. The silver slides were pretty but the top band had an edging kind of like plastic that curled a little and felt like it was cutting when trying on so the will be returned. The other pair felt better, band is a little big but was more comfortable; think it will soften with time and did not have that edging like the silver pair. My feet are very sensitive too and have to be so particular with what I wear. Thanks to Zappos so much for their generous return policy, always my first go-to for footwear!

Width was huge

These are very cute but 100% not worth full price. They are very lightweight almost like a flip flop feel! I do not see these holding up long term. This is my first Sam Edelman purchase and I’m almost appalled at the price vs what just showed up at my front door. I’m a size 8 in almost every type of shoe and these are an exact fit not a whole lot extra to spare so if you are a true 8 1/2 I’d get that instead of sizing down. I will say when I pulled them out I thought the top strap was going to be way too loose looking as my feet are kinda flat and skinny but they work. So if you have a chonky foot, I would not recommend these as that top strap will be digging into your feet and they are not adjustable. I’m keeping these because they are cute but they are insanely overpriced for the quality. Notice every other positive review is incentivized…..

These are so stiff and look huge on my feet. Neither attractive, comfortable nor feminine. Returning.
