If you’re looking for a barefoot toe splay natural last shoe this is close but it’s too tight through the ball of the foot to be comfortable. I ordered two sizes. The smaller size - the heel rubs and the shoe is tight through the ball of the foot but gapes weirdly at the midfoot. One size up - the shoe seems too big - the shoe gapes weirdly around the midfoot and slips at the heel and still doesn’t fit quite right around thr ball of the foot. The insole is pretty decent but not as good as the footbed on the Taos super z sandals. The footbed of the Taos super z sandals have more metatarsal support than these insoles. I didn’t try to break them in. I wish Taos would have committed to an actual supportive natural last shoe with a formal leaning because that is a big gap in the “barefoot shoe” marketplace. The insole being removable is cool. I just need an upper that makes the shoe worth not returning. Bummer.

I really wanted these to work. They are so cute. But, the sole is a bit too flat for me. There is excellent arch support in the middle, but the heel and toe are at a similar height. I need a little more height in the heal. I wear 8.5, and just didn’t fit the European sizing. The 39 was tight in the toe and the 40 loose in the heal.

They are cute shoes with decent arch support but they hit night on the back of the heel. I could tell that they would hurt my heels to walk in for longer periods of time.

I wanted to love these but the leather on the front of the shoe was cutting into the top of my chubby feet. They are very stiff.

They are so cute but the back came up a bit too high for me sadly so I’ll be returning.

Walked around my house to test drive them and they were fine. As soon as I wore them outside, the outer back part of shoe hit my ankles every time I stepped. I added an additional support under Taos insole and it resolved the problem. Had the issue occurred before I wore them outdoors, I would have returned them. They are cute Mary Janes, recommend not wearing socks to preserve style.

I loved these shoes but the toe box was not generous enough for me....my second toe is longer than the first and had this not been the case, the toe box would have been just fine. I have narrow heels, but these shoes fit perfectly in that area. These shoes did make my feel look super boxy, but they were very comfortable out of the box (minus the toe box being too short for my long second toe)

I wanted to love these cute shoes but just couldn't! I have narrower feet and they felt REALLY wide. The arch support out of the box is okay, but I struggle with plantar fasciitis. Even trying them with my orthotics instead of the manufacturer's insoles (which are removable), the wide, super flat soles made me feel like I was walking unnaturally - not a great thing when you have picky feet. If they weren't so expensive I would consider keeping them for occasional wear but I'm looking for a go-to I can wear every day pain-free.

I love the style and footbed of the shoe. Unfortunately the 6M is not long enough and it is too tight in the toe box.

I think these shoes fit (wide enough...long enough...nice roomy toe box)...but they were incredibly uncomfortable. I could hardly walk in them. I think the issue was the VERY stiff inserts. They made the shoe so it didn't flex when I took a step. The arch also hit my foot in the wrong spot. I'm returning them.

I love the insole and the width of the shoe with my narrow feet! The heel was a problem, though, digging into my Achilles. There's no way I could wear these and break them in. For my feet, it would be painful every day; the shape is a problem.

Black was really blue color

too short and narrow in toe box, very uncomfortable, good quality. I will return.

Stiff leather

I really like the style of the shoes, including the rubber sole that extends beyond the leather part of the shoe. Unfortunately, the extra rubber sole at the heel of the shoe throws off my stride.

Too wide, too heavy, too ugly

I am giving this rating because I ordered this shoe in two sizes and received both in sizes that I did not order. So sad that Zappos is no longer a good company. I am returning both and buying the shoe elsewhere.
