I have several pairs of Aetrex sandals, and the Ashleys may just be my favorite! The wide, adjustable straps provide a perfect fit, and the arch support is excellent. I wear a U.S. size 8, and the European size 38 is exactly right. I bought the sandals in navy, which is often hard to find. Thanks to Zappos for sending me an email when this new style became available.

I purchased this shoe in poppy at my local department store and I came here to purchase another pair! This shoe is so pretty on the foot and so comfy right out of the box. I normally wear 10W, but I bought this in 10M and they fit perfectly. I really like that they have arch support, but it's not a huge arch and soft, not super firm. Aetrex is my new favorite shoe brand.

This is a beautifully styled and comfortable wedge sandal. Love the detail of the large buckle. (Velcro closure, just a style addition). However, and sadly, I will be returning. I needed a deep dark Navy blue sandal to wear with a few dresses. And although the photos show a dark blue sandal, I was so disappointed when it arrived, as it is more a medium denim blue color.

So comfortable, Im a teacher and wear these all the time.

The foot bed is soft and gel-like, making them extremely comfortable. Due to Morton’s neuroma, I haven’t been able to wear anything with a heel as it has been too much pressure on the balls of my feet, but these are wonderfully comfortable! I have a slightly wide foot, but these have Velcro both over the toe area and the ankle, so you can get a great fit. The only problem I have had was when I was flying and my feet swelled, and my big toe wound and one instep wound up a bit sore. My fault - I should have found a bench, sat down, and adjusted them instead of ignoring the swelling of my feet. I want to buy a dozen of these, in all different colors!

The sizing was fine, these appear to have nice craftsmanship/quality, and they looked nice. I liked that the straps can be adjusted but still look good (not childish looking) but I could not get used to the arch support hitting behind my actual arch. I need shoes that I am able to walk around in all day comfortably (for home and travel) and these didn’t seem to present good odds, especially since they would be a pretty expensive risk. Unfortunate. It’s not clear why they purposely choose to make the arch support in this way - but my past experience with arch support that hits behind my actual foot arch is that it makes my whole foot ache after a few hours. No thanks.

Very comfortable wedge sandals-haven’t felt like wearing heels in quite some time, but these are really comfortable. Only slight issue is a rough spot on strap of right sandal near toe. Had to put a bandaid on.

Great shoe. I love the Aetrex wedge. I have another pair besides these. You can adjust the strap for your perfect fit. They are super comfortable. Great support.

Great shoe for a wide foot! Had to get a neutral sandal for a wedding and this worked perfect!

I am really excited about these cute wedge sandals. They are cute and comfortable. The wide strap across the top and the supportive and cushioned sole make there really comfy!

So comfortable! I stopped wearing heels years ago due to arthritis and a bone spur. The construction of the Aetrex footbed allows me to wear this lovely wedge with no pressure on the arthritic big toe. They are a lovely blue suede to boot. Fan fo life! Thanks Aetrex for making a cute shoe that is also stylish and doesn't hurt. The velcro straps are genius.

Love Aetrex wedges—even my bunion loves these shoes—the Velcro straps allow for a wider width….I also have a pair of Sydney’s in 38 & these are slightly smaller than the Sydney’s…..I can wear these shoes for hours — as heels they are wearable even on a less than stable cruise ship….

Size & Fit are great! A very comfortable shoe. A bit pricey.

Great shoe! Super cute and comfortable. Love the faux buckle with velcro underneath. So much easier than fiddling with a buckle. Ultimately I returned them because the straps were a little wide for my small low-volume foot but otherwise pretty color, nice material, very comfortable. Definitely wanted to keep them.

Very comfortable. Tried several pairs and styles and this one is perfect. I have kind of a high arch and flat feet in the metatarsal area I have kind of a high arch and flat feet and the metatarsal area so it’s hard for me to find a good fit in shoes.

Gorgeous, fun shoe. Bed of shoe did not come close to meeting my high arch.

I really wanted to like these shoes because they are basic, the perfect height for non-heel wearers, and they adjust to the width of your feet. But as soon as I put them on, I felt unsteady, as if the shoe were imbalanced. With each footfall, my ankle turned inward and I felt like I was going to topple over. I've never had that issue before, but I note that the heel area that touches the ground is very narrow compared to other brands. They had to go back. It isn't worth a twisted ankle.
