The Pro/SLX carbon are the best golf shoes I've ever owned. Great stability, very comfortable and they are stylish. I bought two pair. One white and the other black. No break in required. I've played two rounds so far with these shoes. Highly recommend!

Replaced my Premieres with this shoe and couldn't be happier. Out of the box comfort, extremely stable, confident grip. I have walked 36 holes so far, both in 40 wet conditions in New England. The shoes were stable, dry, and really comfortable to walk in. Nice wide front of the shoe allows foot to spread vs. the more traditional fitting shoes where are a bit more pointed. Modern look without being gaudy - the all white look great in pants and will with shorts too.

The shoes look great but I ordered a size too small . I have sent them back . I'm not happy with the return policy . My fault for not reading it . If I read the policy before buying the shoes I would have not ordered them no matter how good they looked or reviews .

The most stable FootJoy, and I have played most models to compare. Didn't hesitate to purchase these again!

Super stable. Maybe a hair wider than last years wide but very comfortable. My 4th year in a row buying this same Pro/SL carbon and have enjoyed them all.

Very nice shoes! Was worried about the fit since the recommendation was 1.5 sizes smaller than my normal shoe size. Ordered 1size smaller and they fit fine. #sweepstakes

I had two pair of Footjoy ProSL 9.5 medium width tie shoes for 6 years. They still are functional but the leather is getting beat up. I'm 66 years old, 5'7", 150 lbs. My left foot is narrower than my right. My left heel slips out slightly in most shoes, including the ProSL. The best solution would be to wear split-width golf shoes but I cannot find any. I recently purchased the Pro/SLX Carbon narrow width size 9 upon considering the website advice of buying 1/2 size smaller. When trying them on for the first time, with a pair of thin, high-quality footjoy golf socks, the Pro/SLX Carbon fit borderline snug. However, upon removing the inserts that came with the shoes and replacing them with my own orthotic inserts, the shoes fit perfectly. After wearing them around the house for an hour, they are the perfect fit; finally, no heel slippage!

Awesome shoe: super comfortable, nice wide, stable base, and good durability. What's not the like! I wear foot joys exclusively and have two pair of these shoes right now.

Great shoes, but you wouldn't expect anything else from FJ. Look a bit bulky, but are so comfortable

As I get older the classics tend to be less comfortable when I walk! The Pro/SLX have slightly more room for my toes and joints. It's also considerably lighter than the Tour Alpha!

Not true to size. Runs big.

I only buy foot joys since they fit my feet so well. However, this purchase was a misfire. I was seeking a pair of golf shoes in all black, as I am over the white sole look. This was the only pair of foot joys like this I could find. They have a flared out, thick soles that extend beyond your normal footprint - giving a heavy & clumsy feeling, like wearing boots. After wearing for the first time today, I cannot return them and will try to find someone to give them to. I did buy a pair of Pro/SL shoes today & am happy with the feel, look & weight (I'll live with the white soles).

U must try it first before buy. The leather is little bit too hard. But when we talk about the stable, it's the best one.
