I wanted to share my thoughts on the FootJoy Tour Alpha BOA golf shoes. Comfort is a top priority for me because I mostly walk when playing golf. It's also crucial for me to feel balanced and stable when I'm standing over the ball, as a solid foundation really helps my swing. I've often found myself needing to adjust traditional laces after the first few holes of walking, which can be a bit of a hassle.
However, the Tour Alpha BOA golf shoes have truly excelled in all these areas for me. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box, and even after walking a full 18 holes, my feet feel great. Despite the comfort, I feel very connected to the ground, which gives me a fantastic sense of stability throughout my swing. What I particularly appreciate is the BOA lacing system. It's super convenient and allows for quick and easy adjustments to the tightness as needed during my round, which is a significant improvement over having to constantly retie laces.

Tried these for the 1st time & although they're only new & not worn in yet, they were still very comfortable.
They are a lot heavier than previous branded shoes I have worn, but that isn't an issue.

After seven seasons with Footjoy DNA 2.0's in BOA, I found a transitional shoe in the Tour Alpha BOA with similar aesthetics and playing characteristics. Footjoy has really stepped up their game with this shoe. I carry for most of my rounds and my feet have been comfortable from the first tee to the last putt on 18. Rain or shine, these shoes have held up and have proven to be very stable in all conditions. Keep in mind that the back heel runs higher than most shoes (would recommend wearing quarter socks or higher).

Stability is superior. Like they have outriggers on them. Look good, very comfortable. The traction is much better than my spiked Eccos and Adidas.

I bought these for my grandson and he played in a tournament, during a heavy rain. They kept his feet dry and provided him with good traction. Pleased with the purchase

This is my third pair of the foot joy boa shoes and I just love how they fit. The most comfortable shoe to wear on the golf course.

Boa works well, spikes have strong grip, the waterproof seals worked well in heavy rain. The base and upper construction is very solid. However, I'm going to knock off 1 star due to two reasons. One, the tongue is made of a different material than the shoe, it feels like a cheaper material. Two, the cuffs around the ankles are high. The right cuff chaffes my Achilles area.

Great look and overall comfort. BOA gets loose a lot and has to be retightened. Also heel is a little stiff and created some blisters breaking them in. Overall they are a great shoe once you break them in

Have had several different footjoy shoes through the years, these are the worst. My winter footjoys, for less than 1/2 the cost, are much more comfortable. Giving 2 stars only because they do look good!

The service for for FootJoy was excellent. I have no complaints there. The only complaint I have is to shoes themselves for some reason the foot joys always hurt my feet. They're just never comfortable as much as I want them to be. They're never comfortable so this brand new purchase that I got I'm already selling.

had one pair and played two rounds walking and the heel inside wore out due to rubbing the boa system. FootJoy did replace that pair and the next pair wore out in a month and a half (5 rounds). The fabric appears to be too thin and the metal from the boa system wears it out. The shoes are very comfortable and stable.

Heel tab is too high which digs into back of achillies.
