HERITIC they say, HA! Try "My new favorite riff on the Reynolds I-III!" Which by the by was the single best series of models they made (shout-out to the old EE Model as notable contender.) Gonna buy so many pairs.

When I saw those, I got super happy because they reminded me of The Reynolds and always wanted a pair. They fit true to size. I put them on as soon they were delivered and right away I started feeling a piece of material bending outward like it was pressing on the right toe. I thought after breaking them in for a few days or week, it would go away, but It was getting somewhat worse whenever I put them on. And I dont think Emerica would accept returns from wearing them the day they were delivered until now. I didnt skate in them or anything, just by simply walking, it started happening. I own so many pairs of shoes and never had this happened, perhaps I have to break in the right shoe after two months? Idk. I wanted to give these shoes 5 stars because of the nostalgia and how awesome they look, but due to that problem with the right shoe, Ill give it a two. Maybe Ill get another pair

This shoe is amazing! Great comfort, shape, and tremendous grip on the board. I have never tried this shoe before and I'm sold. The all day comfort i get a well as the shape and look of the shoe is sick. They also skate extremely well. I will definitely be getting another pair of heretics. I work at Woodward park city, so I walk, stand, jump, skate, and am on my feet actively all day. These shoes are a perfect fit and I am very stoked I chose this model!!! 5 stars

The look and feel of these are so great. I agree with the comments of upgrading the midsole. If so, I would continue to buy and skate these for sure.

Love the heretic, great build quality, nice board feel, and comfortable. I love the extra flip/ollie wear zone reinforcing. They could be perfect though if they had removable insoles for a bit more impact protection, and offered offered lace protection with recessed holes or a Hoban style lace cover. All in all though, one of my favorites.

Cool to wear the Heretic again. Had these 20 years ago. Looks awesome in black imo. Reynolds /kirchart vibes. Fits just right, and I have kind of wide problematic feet. Board feel is more than ok but not like vulc of course. Still ok though. BUT. Like other people said, the insole/midsole is ****. Have skated them couple sessions and now my heels hurt after. And I only skate low impact stuff.. With vulc I can understand, but for cupsoles this is kind of unacceptable. Especially for 90. I can see the egg crate pattern through the insole, come on.. This shoe needs an update to g6 or at least better insoles/midsoles. Make it happen Emerica!!!

These shoes are a pretty good quality, I love how they look too, but right shoe is slightly narrow for my wide foot compared to Volcanos which are perfectly comfortable left and right and wider in general !

Im not sure if this is by design or an imperfection in the sole making process, but the left shoe on my size 8 is skinnier than the right one. Which is making it hard to get used too. Maybe you make the left shoe smaller on purpose?

Loved the shoe the first couple of sessions, but after awhile I started getting really bad knee pain due to the shoe not having any midsole foam. Really missed the mark by not giving this shoe atleast a cheap Eva midsole. Wouldve loved to have seen g6 foam go in this shoe but with it being a budget shoe I understand, but a rubber egg crate cupsole with a thin Eva sock liner just isnt doing it for me. Unfortunately had to retire these a lot earlier than I would have with any other shoe. Emerica take notes, cupsoles should always have a proper midsole construction.

Great feeling shoe right out of the box! The sole is grippy and the rubber toe piece gives a great flick. Flip tricks felt great right from the first session. The shape on the upper is also great with just right amount of padding. I also love this unique navy-grey-red colorway, these really has some classic emerica vibes! A successful modernization of a classic!

Yo thats crazy they brought these back, I had these in 2 different colors. I need to get another pair even tho I no longer skate they are comfortable and the extra padded tongue was perfect when it was in style to pad your shoe. They all ready sold out of the all black in a size 12 Ill be waiting for a restock.

The best shoe for the money available right now. Hard stop. I've skated them 4-5 times a week for the last 3 weeks and they still look and feel amazing. No other shoe is currently capable of holding up like these PARTICULARLY for the money!!!

I've skated something from every brand, from Airwalk through Tony Hawk's awful shoes in the early 00's. My favorite shoe by a country mile has been the Heritic 2. I worked at a skate shop when they were released, and I purchased 6 pairs for myself, then talked enough local skaters into trying them, that we sold out and re ordered the whole size run five times. These are a little thinner and the sole isn't a sewn on cup anymore, but overall these new reissues are just as wonderful as the original. Thank you for making them available again.

Wellit almost is. The reworked grip on the sole of the shoe is quite nice. Its like the perfect balance of the OG1 and the old grip of previous iterations. Its less chunky, its refined and its somehow deeper than it used to be. The return of the tell tale rubber toe cap is great not just for looks but for function as well. My 2 only real gripes are the laces (I just dont like the flat and thin laces that came with them, if they were a bit wider and thicker that woulda been sick, along with an extra pair of laces) and the only big gripe is the insole. Maybe my memory is bad but I believe the OG ones had a little heel pad in them and had that blue (or red) foam piece in the middle of the foot on the inside they were a bit thicker. I think the 3rd iteration had a G6 insole (or maybe Im thinking of the red HSU shoes and Im just mistaken) with them. Overall this was THE skate shoe for kids who didnt have a lot of money that needed a shoe that was not only comfortable but could stand up however long your sessions are. Its awesome they listened to people like me who had this back in the day and the new kids who always wondered if it was worth the hype. It was and still is my top skate shoe, even all these years later. The refinements for modern times are great, they FEEL like youre stepping back in time when you put them on. These are a must buy, I hope they bring out more colorways and maybe in the future offer and work on the improvements I wish were in them I wrote about above. Thank you Emerica for bringing these back and hopefully youll keep em around for a few more years. Minor issues aside, do not skip buying these. Thanks for reading.

So go read that one. My only other thing I need to add for this colorway is how well everything pops off the other color. Just get em, either this one or the black pair. Again, read my review on the black pair. Im lazy and didnt wanna copy it over again.
