This is a cute sandal. I tried it on, declared it mine and wore it to a friend's house. The next day I wore it and walked in it longer than just getting out of my car and going into someone's house. These are stretchy elastic fabric and give so much that while I'm walking. I have to stop and scoot my foot back into the sandal. Just one trip to a big box grocery store and my feet are fatigued from scootching them back...IF I'd have noticed this, I would have returned them, but they are worn. Steer clear.

I was hoping these were the same shoes I bought a few years ago which I love. Unfortunately they are a bit different. The strap across the top of the foot is too tight, but more importantly the footbed is not as soft and comfortable as my original pair. Both are Cloudsteppers but this pair definitely didn’t feel like stepping on clouds.

The strap is actually all elastic and due to my flat pancake foot, my foot wedges in too far under the elastic strap once the heel strap is tightened. I’m going to try a half size smaller. As far as styling, the black and white style is a win-win. Very tasteful! I’d buy two if same if this next size fits.

I ordered a wide since my toe area is wider than the rest of my foot. The straps near my toes are perfect and the upper straps are a little loose but the adjustable back straps make up for that. The sandals are very comfortable and good to wear casually with shorts, pants or a dress. I was looking for a sandal that was different than the sporty types. It’s great that you can throw them in the washer, too!

I have bunions and these are stretchy and comfortable. And they look cute

I have a similar pair of Clarks Cloudstepper sandals, and was hoping these would be similar, but with a different texture for variety. They are definitely comfortable like my other pair, however, the stretchy fabric causes the shoes to make a "clapping" sound when I walk. They stretch just enough in the toe area for the heal portion to slap agains my heal when walking. Happened with every.single.step. I don't like to attract attention to myself where I walk with an irritating sound like this. Hence, I returned them. I will also say, customer service and shipping with Zappos is exemplary.

You know, I can't wear backless shoes except briefly to the pool or something, becauseI walk right out of them. Also, I can't stand a "toe post" so I don't wear flip flops. And I have a bunion-like rheumatoid deformity on one foot exactly where most sandals like this will rub. But because these uppers are elastic, there's no rubbing. I had a pair of Keds in this style that I wore until they fell apart. Thank goodness that Clarks has checked all the boxes: comfort, support, no toe post, back strap, and elasticated upper. Perfect.

I'm typically an 8.5-9 and took these in a 9. Very good arch support and look cute.

Very cute shoes and foot bed was comfortable, but the straps were too tight for my feet.

Very comfortable and cute! I haven't worn them much yet, so hope the stretchiness isn't so stretchy that they lose all form and don't keep my foot on the sole. I'm excited for these to be my summer go-tos but maybe need a pedicure first.

Shoes are too slippery for me!

I liked these a lot. I bought them because I thought that the top stretchy band would cover up my bunions (both feet). Unfortunately, that band is not quite wide enough (or maybe it should be positioned an inch further back from the toe area). My bunions peek out from the bottom of the band. Not a good look! I have to send back. Sad. I love Clarks and will keep looking
