The color was a bit darker than I expected which is good. The shoe is also stiffer than I expected which is also what I hoped for. This is a hardy, sturdy shoe I wanted to wear to the office in winter and wet weather.

Good a little big. Hopefully they last as long as my husband's old Skecher dress shoes he bought 25 years ago!!!

Purchased SKECHERS Work Magma - Soother over a year ago. My husband is very happy with them and wears them most days to work. Saw this oxford style and thought he might enjoy this shoe just as much. After trying them he said the shoe felt at least a half a size larger, in addition he worried he could potentially trip over the wider toe box. If he had liked them, I would order a half a size down. Neither of us likes the eyelets for the shoelaces. They have pewter like finish and appear more casual, considering the shoe style is called an Oxford, the name indicates a dressier style. They create a rather informal in addition, as does the pull loop at the back of the shoe. He said he felt the loop every step. We are returning this pair and keeping the second order of the Soothers mentioned above.
