I bought/tried all ...ON, New Balance, Kuru, Brooks, FootStore... etc. --and returned all. These were the only ones that fit well (-I wear wide bc I wear custom orthotics), have great cushioning, arch support, and help my plantar fasciitis. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Many issues, the biggest is the hard plastic tongue. If you have any bone spurs, the hard tongue will find them. Next is the un-reinforced fabric over your little toe, that causes it to stick out. And I hate those elastic laces. The shoe doesn't roll as well as the 23Walk classic sneaker, but I only put about a mile on the shoes, so not a good test. I'm returning them and buying my 4th pair of 23Walk sneakers.

I was unsure at first because I wondered how supportive this sneaker would be. I was delightfully surprised. The sole is soft for a light impact but still gives me support and comfort. I ordered my regular size but it ran a little big, I sized down a half size and now they are perfect. A definite must have.

The Vionic Walk Max Lace Up Sneaker is a great-looking shoe for walking. It offers exceptional comfort, support, and style, making for an excellent walking experience. The shoe's upper is made of breathable mesh fabric, and it is water-repellent. But my favorite part is the comfortable, durable, and "squishy" rubber outsole. It is an excellent choice for walking and a versatile companion for all my daily activities.

It’s embarrassing how many shoes I’ve tried on that would work with my problem feet. First the positive: I love the overall shoe, and ordered a second pair in a different color. Now the negative: I despise the hard plastic tongue; not sure what they were thinking when this was designed. It is also difficult to pull the tongue up and get positioned properly once the shoe is on (albeit with arthritic hands). This is something I’ve never encountered with any other shoe. Also, the shoe laces leave something to be desired and seem to be wearing rather quickly. I feel this would be a perfect shoe with a traditional tongue and better shoelaces. Obviously not a deal breaker since I was desperate for comfortable shoes.

All good except for the tongue which was designed too short and disappears as you insert your foot- really annoying.

Does not compare to the classic walker. Too snug, not the same level of support.

These are so bad I gave them away to charity. They are less sturdy than older models. However my tipping point was the shoe’s tongue. It is too short and unless you grab it with your fingers before inserting your foot it disappears and does not lay flat. Holding it every time I put my shoes on is not a viable option for an o,d person with hand arthritis. I will never buy from this company again.
