I wear these everyday for 3-5 miles walking, absolutely love them, usually with that mileage go through a pair of trail shoes a year. When it came To make the decision what to replace my previous pair with I was thrilled to see they were still available. Worth every Penny.

Just purchased a pair over the holidays. They have a great feel/fit and responsiveness when I'm using them on any terrain. I feel like I can conquer anything in these and will be looking forward to purchasing the Genesis line in the future. Please keep making them Solomon!!

I do need to re-tighten to get a snug fit at the bottom lace area, but good overall.

I bought these shoes and after breaking them in I love this shoes. It will come as no shock but the lace system never disappoints. Keeps the shoes tight while feeling comfortable the whole time. Cant say enough good things about these shoes.

Great grip, nice cushioning - I'd work a bit on some esthetic details but overall 5 stars!

I've ran long, technical efforts in a ton of different Salomon releases. This by far is the best price to quality ratio shoe that I've experienced! Enough cushion for ultra distances, great grip, softer material in the heal cup than some others (blister friendly), and just enough propulsion for a fun ride. Highly recommend and hope these features continue in the Genesis generations to come!

The shoes are really good looking, they are well constructed but they are a very tight fit. These would be great if they made a wide version

Bought two sizes and the larger fit my foot better, but these are longer for a given size than many other brands. The padding in the upper packed out after a couple of runs, so my foot now sits farther back in the shoe; I could have gotten away with the smaller size. Grip is OUTSTANDING on wet and dry rock, even smoothed limestone. Off trail running on rock has proven the durability of the shoe as well.

Got these shoes from the Ride Sense 2 which I really liked. I like these just as much. They have a little more cushion which is nice when running over sharper rocks.

First time buying salomon, the upper, quick lace, and width was spot on. Felt a little long with my normal US size 10 in men's, but is ok on the trails. Would be nice for v3 to make it 3mm shorter and use vibram megagrip.

I've been using them for running, as approach shoes for climbing, and generally for walking around. The performance is great, they're breathable, and they're very comfortable.

This shoe has a lack of traction on steep ground. I believe their must have been a change in rubber as this has never before been an issue with Salomon footwear for mountain running that I have used. Tested these on a familiar mountain course and painfully "crashed" twice unexpectedly as my feet blew out from beneath me. This shoe is comfortable and supportive but I would only choose to run moderate trails with it. Please resurrect the XA Alpine first generation shoe with the complete toe cap!

I have incredibly narrow feet, and these fit very snuggly around the heel and midfoot with a little extra room around the toe box. Cushioning is superb, and I love the lace lock system.

I've had these for a couple of months now. They have great cushioning but are not too squishy. They respond well on the trail and have good traction on dirt/gravel.

Been wearing them for about a month and they work great for dirt roads, tame trails, untamed trails, and off trails. Was looking for a lighter weight option to my XA Pros and these are it. Between the Genesis and Speedcross I've got excellent options for year round trail running in VT. Only thing that would make the Genesis better would be a more aggressive tread for lose or wet trails.

Instantly lovable feel and ride. Fantastic grip and just the right amount of support and flexibility. If only it had a pull tab on the heel.

As soon as I tried these on, they just felt right. Ive been on a quest to find my perfect trail shoe, and these must be my style. Of all the trail shoes I have, these are most similar to the Peregrine. They are nimble, fast, and to me they feel very stable. I am confident over very technical terrain in these. So far, the longest single run Ive done in them is 15 miles, but I plan to run a 50k in them next month and maybe a 50 miler in them if my feet feel okay after the 50k. I think they will.

I have had probably 20 different Salomon shoes and boots over the years, all the same size. These do not fit the same Too narrow for my foot. They also seem to increase my supination. Not my favorite Salomon shoe ever

I got an email stating my order has been delivered. However, I looked everywhere for it and I couldnt find it. I contacted the customer service and they advised me to check with my neighbors. Now they escalated this problem to get me q store credit. I only buy Salomon for my brother whenever I go home to visit them. And Im leaving in a couple of days. If I dont have these shoes by now to take them with me , I dont need store credit that Im gonna need in 2 years when I visit them again. This is really frustrating , its too much before my trip.

Absolutely not waterproof. Advertised as gore-Tex, for the ‘wet and wild’. But, the water pours through like you are wearing sandals. Very disappointing.
