Fit and feel is just like the non GTX Genesis that I love. Glad to have a waterproof option in the mix now!

I dont know what it is about these, but they are a blast! Super fun on the descent and doesnt weigh you down on the ascent. Foot always feels secure and protected.

I've been using them for about 2 months and the comfort is really incredible. They are very light and have very good grip. The size recommended by the page was perfect for me.

I'm on my 3rd pair of Salomon Genesis shoes! 1st pair 507 miles, 2nd pair 627 miles, and 46 miles on this 3rd pair! I wore Hoka Speedgoat shoes but the front and inner areas would rip from roots and rocks.... finally a trail shoe that doesn't get shredded on the trails! Thank you, I'm a believer in the Salomon Genesis!

I slid into my first pair of Salomons in 2008 and have worn only this brand for work, training, and racing from daily walks to multi day hikes and races. These are solid choice (so far) for the everyday and 10-15 mile mixed road/trail runs. They are light with a solid stable feel. The toe box is comfortable and sufficient for my slightly wide foot allowing room for the expansion as the miles increase.

I currently own more than a dozen pairs of Salomon shoes. The Genesis GTX was new to me, and I wasn't quite sure i would like them. They have quickly become my "go to" shoes. I'm a big guy, so support is numbers 1,2 3,4 and 5 on my priorities list. This shoe has all the points I look for. Great job Salomon designers

Comfortable, good traction in the wet, and great feel. Fairly responsive shoe. I only have around 85 miles on these shoes, but am liking them overall thus far.

Great cushion and extremely comfortable fit while jogging with the dog on trails and everyday wear. They make for a great gym shoe as well, as the sole offers a very stable platform. I have a wide toe box, high arch, and look for more narrow fitting shoes and these fit me perfectly. I hope you keep making this shoe! Im buying 2 more pair just in case

Very comfortable out of the box and good traction. Tight toe box and I usally wear a medium width. But I will be keeping them and hope it breaks in and opens up a little.

Bought the shoes a month ago, perform flawlessly. Use the shoes for golf and softball.

Love the ability to put my size 14 narrow foot in the shoe and lace it up wo the toe box bunching up. I also like the arch support for my flat foot.

I'm getting ready to order my THIRD pair. The comfort is great, really nice looking and I have well over 400 miles on these guys and they feel like I can get some more. These are so good I bought my wife a pair of the women's Genesis, which she loves.

I've been buying Solomon shoes for many years and used to favor the XA Pro 3D's but they changed something so that they were no longer comfortable for me and so I tried these. I have to say that these are the best shoes I have ever owned. I wear a narrow size 14 and they fit my feet like a glove. They have just the right amount of cushion, stability, grip, durability and comfort that you could ever ask in a trail running shoe. Well I don't run. I do a lot of hiking and backpacking and have used these shoes in all conditions to my complete satisfaction. And while my feet tend to get very sore after a long hike I don't have nearly the problem with that with these shoes is I have had with others.
