I love Trotter dress boots and order this style in size I usually wear. Had to return them for a wider size. I found them narrower across front of boot, Have not received the wider pair yet. This will be my third pair of Trotters and I usually find them very comfortable.

Comfortable from day 1.

I wear them in the winter only when it isn't messy with snow. Spring & Fall definitely.

I have bought many different styles of shoes from Trotters for years confident of the quality and perfect fit for a 7.5 N each time. I have black boots that I wear often during the winter months and hoped to add these luggage-colored boots to my wardrobe. After unpacking the boots from the package I noticed an area on the right boot that had either rubbed against something during shipping or the color and finish applied to the leather didn't cover completely. I hoped it wouldn't be noticeable to anyone else so I wore them to church one Sunday. When I took them off there were additional areas where the color and/or finish had rubbed away. So disappointing!! I am returning these and as of this writing I haven't decided whether to reorder or not. In addition there was chafing from the top of the left boot on my left ankle. If there is a way to polish or repair rubbed or scuff marks on this color I would like to know as I have an older pair of flats in this color that won't take any polish or other color treatment.
