I have not worn Birkenstock style shoes before and the feel of the sole takes some time to get used to. The thong piece that fits between the toes felt a bit stiff. I ordered some gels that cover the thong piece to prevent the irritation there. I intend to keep these and continue to wear them in the house to get my feet accustomed to the feel.

the thong part is made of hard plastic and was extremely uncomfortable. I did not have a lot of confidence that it would soften with repeated use because, ...well, plastic, duh. so I returned them. If it had been leather I would have kept them

These are so comfortable right out of the box. I was worried about the piece in between toes. It is rubber and it is very comfortable for me. I am a size 10 with spreading feet and a bunion. The EU 41 fits well.

These are definitely KEEPERS!!! Super cute platforms, comfortable and supportive. True to size!

Great style but super uncomfortable! The plastic toe thong is unbearable. And the leather upper is the firmest of leathers sourced from a rhino, I’d guess! I don’t know how I’m going to get these broken in as they’re hard to wear walking for more than 15 -20 minutes.

This is the best for me Birkenstock ever made, I want them in every color. As comfortable as a regular Birkenstock Gizeh is the platform is even more supportive of my failing arthritic feet. I can stand at work for four hours without pain which is becoming harder and harder to do. I was wary of the vegan material the first time I tried it but those words don't scare me any longer, the vegan material is comfortable and wears like iron. I actually prefer it to leather as it holds it's shape and the color does not fade. As my shoe options become more limited I am so grateful to Birkenstock for coming up with something new that I benefit from.

I love these! They are super cute and stylish and look great on. I usually wear a wide shoe, but these work for me. I wear a US size 6 and the 37s were perfect. Some have mentioned that the toe post bothered them, but this is not a problem for me.

Looks great, comfortable, no break in time necessary.

The shoes are wonderful, however they will take some breaking in, also maybe some sandal cushions could be used they’re hard not sure if that was their intended purpose maybe arch support!

I wanted to love these shoes. Everything fit great but the plastic between the toes was so hard I couldn’t even walk in them.

These shoes are very uncomfortable. The part between the toe is plastic. Not the quality I was expecting from Birkenstock.
