The style and color are both great. I would have kept and enjoyed very much except the plastic piece that goes between your toes is unbelievably hurtful. Couldn’t even wear for a minute. To bad for me.

These are really cool, but very uncomfortable in between my toes. It’s true that I don’t always love a toe thong, but these are particularly uncomfortable. I will return them and get the other style.

I ordered my size based on the European sizing which I generally find more helpful when I’m not sure whether I am an 8.5 or a 9. These were comically large on me. Definitely run large, not true to size.

They have made changes in the footbed size. I can't find one that fits like my old Birks. I like the older sizing.

They hurt my feet

They weren’t too small as much as they were a little too short and my toes were hitting the sides. I unfortunately think I already wear the biggest size they come in. Also, the leather on both sandals was scratched - one of them quite a bit.

I have owned probably 15 pairs of Birkenstock's. This pair has a black lining on the footbed, unlike any other pair I have owned. Even though it makes them look nice, my feet stick to them and make a clicking sound. I have tried oder eaters and powder. They help for a little bit. Very very annoying and makes me not want to wear them. I bought them as my dressy Birks. Also for some reason they don't quite feel the same as some of my other Birks.

This particular style for Birkenstock did not fit my narrow feet as well and the standard Birkenstock sandal. Returned and ordered the standard style.

This style fit my right foot okay, but was too big/loose on my left foot. I have a 1/2 size difference. The color was not as brilliant as it appeared online.

These seemed narrower than previous Gizeh pairs I've had. And they made farting sounds with each step I took. Returning them.

I really wanted to love these, but I just couldn't. The buckle is so thin and cheap looking. It definitely didn't feel like $150 sandals. The toe part of the thong was also extremely uncomfortable.

The part that goes between your toes is a very hard and unforgiving piece of plastic. All of my other Burks are full leather. These were not just uncomfortable between the toes, they were painful.

I’m a Birkenstock collector and out of all the other Birkenstock’s that I have this one is the hardest to break in. it is very stiff and the footbed lining is made of slippery smooth leather that makes farting noise sometimes unlike the original suede that is smooth and comfortable. But it looks really nice with dress and jeans and matches every outfit I have and the gizeh style is my favorite so i had to keep it.

I really love this shoe, however, it was way too narrow for me. I have pretty wide feet and I ordered a 40. 41 was way too long. I was pretty disappointed. I am ordering a different Birkenstock sandal to try though.

I wear a 9M, and based on Birkenstock sizing , I should wear a 39 or 40. I ordered the size 39 regular width- the width was fine, but the shoe was too long. I will order a 38 . Also, the color is great, but the “fushia “ colored footbed is definitely not leather, and the buckle feels like plastic. Overall cute and more feminine style. For whole sizes, I recommend ordering down a size.

I loved the look of these sandals, but the arch at the toe line cut into my foot. I have worn birks for years and they never did this to me. I tried a smaller size and it still hurt my foot. I also did not like the plastic part between the toes. That hurt as well. Sorry they didn't work because I loved the color and the large buckle.

I have small, narrow feet, and these look huge on me. I was bummed because I can wear the original style, and pull those off. These just don’t work for a thin, narrow foot, in my opinion. :(

I loved these sandals in the cognac color, on my daughter, and wanted the same shoes. I tried them on for size and the fit was good, so I ordered the same size she had. The cognac is sold out everywhere so I went with the white. The white looked very cheap and the shoe was not comfortable, a little too narrow even for my narrow foot. The leather was very hard. I had to return these.

Beautiful sandals with a perfect fit from day one. True to size. These are getting a 3-star rating because within 30 days of purchase (occasional wear) the thong came off the shoe (right shoe) and rendered them useless. In the few minutes leading to the shoes falling apart, the metal cut into my foot. The thong is plastic and the hardware that secures it is metal. It didn't hold up. I've owned several pair of Birkenstocks and these are the first that have fallen apart. I returned the for a full refund and I keep admiring the style, but I'm hesitant with this style (and possibly this brand) in the future.

This shoe didn't fit like my other Birkenstocks, these seem to run much bigger I had to return them

Leather was very stiff and I needed time to break it in but now softening and more comfortable.

I was very disappointed in these shoes. They appeared cheap to me.

I loved this shoe the second I saw it...wide straps, cognac leather, oversized buckle...so I was thrilled to see that it came in the wider "regular" footbed. Unfortunately, this footbed is significantly more narrow than a standard Birkenstock regular footbed. I stuffed my foot inside, but not comfortably. I though maybe it was just the strap width, or straps needing to be adjusted, or the unusual footbed lining making it feel different, so I compared it with some of my other Birkenstocks of the same size and it is definitely physically more narrow comparing sole to sole. Really bummed to have to return this one, but I can't wear it.

Love the look of this shoe but beware the toe divider is a hard plastic and very uncomfortable. I put some moleskin around it. Wish I would of known this, would have not ordered.

I was looking forward to getting these, but was disappointed w/ the feel when I slid my feet into them. They had support, but felt hard on my arches.
